Great place

The hotel room was nothing like the pictures on the description. The bathtub was completely peeling. The elevator was not functioning so we had to carry everything up three flights of stairs. There’s only one entrance because the other doors are exit. Only it would be OK for a cheaper rate like a Motel 6 rate but not the price that they charge. It is a very rundown hotel.

Showers were a bit run down

I hope you’re doing well. I want to share feedback about my recent stay, which was the most expensive booking of our 7‑day trip but unfortunately the most disappointing. The room had several issues: • The window curtain was torn with large holes. • Water flow in the bathroom basin was extremely slow, making basic use very frustrating. • The toilet bowl was not clean and had visible stains. • The furniture looked very old and worn out. • The lift had been out of service for over a week, causing major inconvenience as we had to carry our luggage to the second floor. • Only a hand soap bar was provided instead of liquid handwash. We chose Holiday Inn for 4 of our 6 nights stay in different locations of colorado because we trusted the brand, but this stay fell far below expectations. With this experience, I would not be able to recommend Holiday Inn to family and friends as I used to. Considering these issues, it is difficult to justify the $249 charge for one night. We kindly request appropriate compensation for the inconvenience and the substandard experience. Thank you for reviewing this matter. Best regards, Abhishek Gupta

Stayed with my mom and Aunt during renovations. Appreciated that the construction area was taped off and the wonderful breakfast area was available.

Cant believe im even saying it.....but even though the elevator was broken, this place was pretty awesome.....I got kids with me, but this was their favorite place they stayed....The breakfast and the snacks that are always around really is just awesome

Staff nice, but elevator did not work had to carry everything upstairs. Dirty bathroom and pool so we did not swim. Fold out bed old and stained. Springs sicking through, not even good for kids to sleep on. Good breakfast at least. Rooms small. Air conditioner would not work until we took very filthy filters out!

Unfortunately, that was only the beginning. During our stay, we also experienced ongoing issues connecting to the hotel’s WiFi. Multiple devices were unable to connect reliably, making it difficult to stay connected, access information, and use our electronics as expected during our stay. The most disappointing issue, however, was a safety concern. My son suffered a serious cut to his toe from a sharp object or edge in the bathroom floor. The injury was significant enough that he was unable to compete in his event on Saturday, which was the primary reason for our trip. I will say that the staff member who responded was courteous and took immediate action by thoroughly sweeping and inspecting the bathroom. Although the source of the injury was never found, it’s very possible it was picked up when we cleaned and dried the floor with the blood-soaked towels. I do appreciate her efforts to address the situation. That said, between the elevator being out of service, the WiFi connectivity problems, and the safety issue that resulted in my son missing an important event, this stay fell far below our expectations. We visit Alamosa several times each year, but based on this experience, this will be our last stay with IHG. I expected a much higher stnd

Good

Breakfast and the location of hotel were great; We are senior citizens and our rooms were on the 3rd floor, the elevator did not work and we had to haul our luggage up the stairway. The staff did not offer to assist only stated "sorry for the inconvenience".
-
Room clean Elevator broken- I had to carry my bags up to the third floor. Probably 10 round trips at both ends of the stay. It even changed how our vacation looked. Feeling like there should have been a warning about this when I booked. Or at least compensation for the inconvenience in the end.

It was good. Lots of different items and the coffee machine was great.
