Hilton Garden Inn Albany Airport

Superb

Close to airport with 24 hour shuttle a big plus. Room was clean and comfortable and breakfast in an actual restaurant was very surprising Halls and rooms beginning to look aged. Time for a refresh

The location was close enough to my daughters college. The staff was less than friendly at check in and check out. The sink was broken in our room along with the ceiling was coming apart and the bottom of our tub was bubbling and very dangerous to stand on.

The staff were very unengaged

Check in and out was efficient. For the price, a continental breakfast should have been provided. No coffee was available in the restaurant/bar area. While sitting in the lobby, I watched a mouse run around the furniture by the windows. This didn’t bother me but I’m sure it would have some people.

One elevator down @ check in, 2nd one died the next day, had to take the stairs, not a big deal for me but lots of commotion in lobby @ 6am. Room was musty, I think carpet was the cause. Room key did not work on exterior door. Clerk @ check in was nice and fast and informative. Place needs attention as the bathroom had hairs in the ceiling and bathtub floor was soft and uneven, never had one of those cheap tubs in a Hilton.

Property was very quiet and no sounds or noise from the airport. We will return.

Has a weird smell as you walk in, definitely need updating

Checked in and was told my Aaron hotel is fully booked even though we had a reservation. A few minutes later the couple behind us was checked in with no issue. I went back and asked what exactly is the issue he said rooms available but he can’t pull up my reservation. It took 2hrs to find another hotel. Worse service

Non smoking room smelled like smoke. You get what you pay for it was ok for a night.

The front desk seemed to be in disarray. Looked unprofessional. The lounge restaurant was being run by two people. The bartender and the cook. A third person on duty might help it run more efficiently and professionally. Just not what I expected from a Hilton property

Perfect spot to stay overnight before an early morning flight.

Unfortunately room service was non existent. It took two verbal requests and an email to get room service and had been there 4 nights The shuttle bus to/from airport was convenient. Small but convenient bar with bar food (closing at 10pm). Coffee provided in hotel lobby. Breakfast was a paid made to order averaging around $15 plate Would be ok for a one or two night stay but would not book again for a 5 night stay as a result of the lack of housekeeping Never had to request twice and never had to send an email to get service!

The bed was very comfortable and the room was nice and dark for sleeping. I went down for breakfast this morning and was greeted by very rude people from the kitchen. First of all, I did not know it was a paid for yourself breakfast so I was looking for a takeout of a muffin and a cup of coffee. When I learned that you had to order off the menu and you had to pay for it, I was disappointed. But no one was more disappointed than the woman that waited on me. She just gave me a dirty look and walked away when I told her I didn’t want to order from the menu. Also, there was a man who was seating people that was very rude to a customer asking for milk. He kept saying we are all out of milk.
