Baymont by Wyndham Latham Albany Airport

Staying here is not for the faint of heart. Everytime I entered the bathroom, a different kind of bug greeted me. Overall maintenance poor; moldy, musty, smokey odors throughout the building. Didn't bother with the free breakfast. I couldn't check out fast enough.

It was very very dirty, property was delapidated. The bathroom was very dirty, the pot was dirty , I had to clean the pot before using, theflusdiddid not

We had tiny fruit flies occupying our bathroom and everything in the building was dingy and beat up. To top it off, the included breakfast was the worst I’ve ever seen. A few stale bagels, slices of white bread, and cold cereal. Why bother?

This place probably should be bulldozed / it’s disgusting , rats , roaches , and just not a clean or sanitary place. As soon as I walked into the hallway toward my room- I turned around and left.

Use this place only if you need an airport shuttle to a hotel, otherwise avoid it I'm sorry this place was a mess, kids running up and down the hallway it seemed like they were housing illegals or homeless people in the hotel, toilet seats that slid off the top of the toilet, no coffee in the morning until you have to have someone come and make it for you, no benches outide to wait for your ride to and from the airport, hotel grounds looked like they don't know what a lawnmower is?? A complete dump but it was a nice ride from the airport the evening I arrived in Albany that was the only positive here.

Facility is very old and a coat of paint does not cover everything. The beginning of mold in the bathroom and a few small black flies were their also. The breakfast was limited.

Room was very well maintained Ed & cleaned. Staff was friendly & like they offered airport shuttle too.

Location. Staff there were doing their best, but facility and breakfast are car wrecks. Did NOT get ADA suite as booked, but at 3:30 am, who is going to argue. We arrived 15 minutes before breakfast ended. 2 bagels, 2 apples, coffee the color of tea. Bathroom had broken toilet seat,1 hangar, no luggage carts, 1 of 3 outlets didn’t work. Large gouges and no paint on many walls.

No sliding or automated door at entrance to facilitate movement of luggage in and out of the property. Door to my room would not lock. Sound of people running up and down the hallway all night long 3 o’clock in the morning talking in the hallway entrance and exit is only through the main lobby side doors do not operate ? I was told not to use them. Room was OK except the door were not lock when I pulled it. Shut on exit

No a thing, we found rats in our room!! I’ll never stay there again.

So bad I left, gave up my no cancel reservation and will never book through Expedia. The contract required a decent hotel. There was no shuttle, no breakfast, and a filthy hotel. But because I reserved through Expedia I cannot get a refund. It was so bad that I moved to another hotel nearby.

Old decore musty smell

Room and building was very outdated, horrible smell. Looked more like a hangout spot that motel. Do not recommend

The room smelled of smoke, there was ashes on the bed. We were given 2 towels for the room with 4 people staying and told to try back in the morning for more towels (this was at 7PM). Room was grungy, and breakfast was cereal, a jug of milk and white bread. Not sure what brand standards are for the name but I doubt this met it.

The man that was supposed to be at the desk was asleep on the couch when we walked by (I only know it was him because he was at the desk when we finished our terrible breakfast). There was no one to help with the breakfast, nothing hot, no protein. Just the bare minimum, they could t have done less. There was an old couch cushion half torn up outside the side door, and a re-usable child swim diaper laying on the ground. The place was unkempt, felt dirty, and the grounds needed some major attention.

Beds were comfortable Fridge and Microwave AC Provided toiletries Cons - Most parts of the room and grounds were dirty and/or dingy Dirty walls Stained rugs Dated at least to the 90s or 80s Shower valve was broken (we made it work) I've stayed in hotels like this, but for $50/night... Not 125. It served its purpose to sleep, but you've gotta invest A LITTLE BIT every few decades in an upgrade or even just a cleaning...

Air conditioning was fine. Check in was quick. Breakfast was non existent. Door to room stuck every time opened.

Shuttle was broken, bugs in room, hallway smelled, breakfast was lukewarm coffee, apple juice and white bread with tubs of peanut butter and jelly. Apples were covered along with bugs under plastic. The waiting room furniture was filthy. Worst hotel I have ever been in!
