What an amazing and unique place. Wonderful outdoor walkways to you own “adobe house” as your room. Especially wonderful was our stay in La Cascada - a closed courtyard, table & chairs, two-person patio swing, water feature, and hot tube… all private and all ours! My only complaint would be that the hot tube was set too high in temp. Would be better to consider a “cool tub” during the summer months. Other than that, it was fantastic.

We found this hotel has rustic charm. It’s an old apartment complex turned hotel. The grounds are like a maze and when checking in, you’re shown around the property, where to park, the hot tubs and then your room. The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed the hot tubs. The room is lovely and truly serves as a small apt. A couple of things to improve on - the bed is high and stepping stools should be in each apt. We had to ask a couple of times to get one as I’m very short. The kitchen is nice but no cooking pots and pans and no silverware. There are glasses and plates and I think a mic. There should be two staff on while one is showing around then there is someone at the front desk. Part of the problem of getting a stepping stool is the front desk person was running around serving guests.

The place is nicely decorated. The breakfast was delicious.

We liked everything about our stay. Accommodations were very nice, plenty of room. All of the staff were terrific and top notch in terms of responsiveness. The claw foot tub and wraparound shower curtain was a little cumbersome to navigate but in terms of aesthetics it was in keeping with the rest of the decor. This is not a criticism at all.

Beautiful spot. We will be staying there again

Really neat set up. Old casitas transformed into a nice little enclave of beautiful individual places to stay. Quaint. Amenities were nice. Bed was comfortable. Up to date entertainment. Proximity to Old Town was great. I could walk there. Parking in Old Town is a hassle, so it was nice to be able to walk instead. I was a little concerned about the neighborhood outside, my car was in a driveway which was okay, but I was a little worried about it at night. There were a few bugs also, but it was August in Albuquerque.

This is a historic hotel. It is quirky. That is exactly why I chose it. It is charming. The room was spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The included hot breakfast was delicious and cooked to order. The grounds are inviting with lots of space to relax. The hot tub is clean and beautiful. Are the floors even, not completely. Are the tiles in the kitchen and bathroom pristine and new? No. But it is clean and the shower was a good one. It is easy walking distance to the Old Town Plaza and restaurants and shops. I would definitely stay again.

Our two queen bed suite was spacious, but the floors were very creaky, and there were quite a few mosquitoes inside. Jacuzzi was more trouble than it was worth – – took about eight minutes to fill up the tub 3/4 of the way, and the Jacuzzi jets were so powerful (even on the lowest setting) that they sprayed water all over the walls and shower curtain. I also wish the showerhead was bendable and had different flow settings.

The main things we liked were the made to order breakfast and the hot tubs.
-
Breakfast left a bit to be desired, the food was ok, the service was not. As far as staff is concerned, Renee was especially helpful Breakfast service was sub-par
-
Very disappointed in stay. The hotel although historic is just rundown. Would not recommend.

If you are looking for a quaint quiet friendly place to stay in Old Town this is the place. The staff is super friendly, clean, quiet, comfy beds, big rooms, good cable and WIFI, parking, and made to order breakfast. The gardens are well kept and pretty. Great roomy 2 hot tubs. I would highly recommend and will come back.
