I travel a lot and stay in plenty of hotels that’s why it caught my attention that there were some house keeping rules that should have been disclosed during check in. Apparently if you leave an item on the bed, they don’t make the bed. I left a pair of socks one day - bed was not made, an iPad another day. - bed was not made, the day of the power outage (rightfully so - the bed was not made). I left in a hurry and left a room service tray in the room (plates were empty) and it was not removed by housekeeping staff neither. I spoke to the housekeeping staff and they informed me of the rules at the end of my stay. I told them to put a sign on the room to let guests know of the housekeeping rules during the stay just so we are all aware of the expectations.

Won’t stay here again.

I’ve stayed here a few times and it’s always been modest in terms of comfort and cleanliness, but this time was much worse than previous visits. Our check-in was slow (if friendly), with staff members chatting for several minutes before dealing with us (and the growing line of guests). Service at the bar was also friendly but almost willfully slow and incompetent. One of the servers spilled our beverages on our table and we were sick the following day. To top it all off, we were awoken by our neighbors separated by an apparently thin wall, who, at 6:30 in the morning, decided it was the best time to pronounce their love for each other in a 1.5-minute yop-fest. I am still answering questions from my 11-yo about the nature of the early am sound-off. Great for reality-tv-style people watching (or hearing). Less great for families in need of privacy and relaxation. C- for soundproofing.

Beautiful hotel and great location! The AC in our room wasn't working, but the staff was helpful and fixed it quickly after we realized it wasn't cooling. Would stay again, wish we had more time there!

Fantastic stay, the grounds & amenities are incredible & the staff is so helpful.

It was a great location, next time we would stay at the next door property called CAO, it seemed newer and easier to get to the pool. It had a rooftop seating.

Nice location. Pool too far (in another hotel)

We enjoyed our stay. It was walkable to the food court, clean and we enjoyed the pool.

This was a great hotel, very authentic and well-maintained. Additionally, it is very close to a lot of dining options and shopping. we ate several meals at the hotel and the food was delicious.

The experience was absolutely amazing, the staff was very friendly and the amenities great. I believe all was good.

Beautiful building and interior. Grounds are gorgeous and well maintained (pool was closed for maintenance but it looked very nice). Staff friendly and helpful!

Really like this place and definitely coming back everything about it has been fabulous except the food. But it’s right next to the Sawmill which is a collection of restaurants as well as old town so there’s lots of restaurants there too.

The Pool, the staff, and the gift store are great! I think adding some softness to the metal bed frames would help in the future. Thanks again.

Front Desk Staff was great when we arrived. Anthony was kind and genuine. Our room was nice nothing spectacular but clean. Definitely can tell several coats of paint on the doors. Pool was nice though not marked so had a difficult time locating it at first. The bar out there was obviously not run by a regular bartender and our drinks were not drinkable. Order a side of fries to eat by the pool and we never received them though charged for them. Garduno's Restaurant was great! Food price and portions were all wonderful! The Staff was great and very attentive. Wonderful job with the gardening and maintainence of the property. I know Sawmill Market is an affiliated business with Heritage Hotels so I will say they need to be more accurate in stating their hours. We were in Albuquerque for Flamenco Festival and of course it's late night events. We anticipated going to Sawill Market about 9 pm to get dessert before a 10 pm Flamenco show. We read that Sawmill is open till 10 pm so we figured perfect! Warrived just before 9 pm to see everyone closing up and putting away for the night. It was a Friday night and there were plenty of other people arriving with a similar plan. We were told by a few of the employees that no they close at 9 pm and the building doesn't close till 10. The liquor establishments were open but nothing else. In my opinion this a a lot of sales the merhcnats are losing out on especially on a Friday night.
