Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town

Beautiful hotel!

This is by far the best hotel for my Route 66 drive. The location, the design and architecture, the restaurant, everything in the property is first-class. The room is spacious and clean, too

Our room was roomy, clean and comfortable with an expansive view. We had a nice dinner in the hotel restaurant. The hotel is conveniently located in relation to the airport and highway, and walking distance to the historic old town.

Place is a bit run down definitely not worth the price.

Get a room on the south side with a balcony with views of Old Town.

Honestly the worst thing about it is that the shower floors are really slippery, there are no grab bars and the water pressure and shower head could be updated. The water is soft so a more pressurized head would be helpful to get the soap out of your hair. Other than that, it was a great.

Bathroom was very small. I stayed in this hotel before with a little nicer room, a balcony and a bigger bathroom. Unfortunately, I think when you book through Expedia, you get the worst rooms. This is always been my experience booking through Expedia.

Great room. Great location near a lot of really prime Albuquerque destinations. I’ve bashed this hotel before in the past but I have it another chance. My first experience was stunning on how rude the staff was. Thought I was in Vegas for a minute. But the place is too special not to try again. I did. I’m glad I did. Only downside is the area is replete with a major homelessness / drug addicted population that can be aggressive at times. Both stays I felt lucky when I woke up and my car hadn’t been stolen. Building a fence around the place would be the only fix I think would work. They have hired security. That’s fine and all. But a fence would be better. Would I stay there again ? Yes Would I might sure my theft policy on my car insurance is up to date ? Yes.

Outstanding stay. Clean, beautiful aesthetic and welcoming, helpful staff.

The gentleman that we checked in with was very helpful. Showed us our location, location of the plaza etc. Very professional and courteous! I just wish that the room had more of a SW feel in the decor. Very plain, but met all of our needs and was very clean.

The property is beautifully landscaped, well maintained and within an easy walk to Old Town. Breakfast choices are good. Arriving for the weekend on Saturday, we encountered several (maybe 3) wedding receptions at the hotel which made parking difficult. At check in, we were advised there’d be a wedding reception beneath our balcony that would be moved inside at 10:00 pm and it was.

Beautiful traditional hotel, big and with great Mountain View’s with higher floors. Gorgeous outdoor venues for smaller parties. Great walking distance to shopping and other restaurants. There are only 2 elevators for the 12 floors and rooms require a desperate facelift. Indoor and onsite restaurant and bar has good food but limited staff and no bathroom so you needed to walk away from restaurant about 50 feet away.

It was awesome. We will definitely stay here again
