We stayed for just one night while passing through. The property was so cute and clean! Our room was nice and cozy and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was welcoming and helpful. We took a little swim in the pool and it was mostly just families and people seeking something a little more interesting on road trips. we ate at the Costa Rican restaurant and the food was amazing. It was very convenient because you can walk the little shops and restaurants.

The one note I would give is for anybody traveling that needs high speed internet (work or for streaming etc), the internet was extremely slow and it made working difficult for me. Normally I’d use my cell phone as a hotspot as a backup but cell service was spotty and speeds were slow there too. As a backup I went to the Sawmill market down the street and found a quiet corner to take calls form and use their internet (and eat some tasty food!). But that one lowlight for me does not diminish what a great motel and experience the El Vado is and would recommend it for solo travelers, couples or small families.

The property had a boutique hotel feel. Quiet surroundings and great location. The staff were all friendly.

Great vibe and location small shops next to the hotel for breakfast …bagels and coffee place right there.,, A little claustrophobic next to the busy street and another hotel sharing parking but I was able to park overnight in a hotel spot…

It was a great stay, we had what we needed and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The parking was a little challenging on a motorcycle but once we knew where parking was, it was okay.

Really enjoyed the stay but you asked..😊. King size pillows or more pillows (3), more than one trash can (one in main room), make sure soap dispensers work and are labeled clearly. That being said we would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful, historic original Route 66 landmark, since 1936. Elegantly maintained. A must see on the route. Located within 3-4 blocks of Old Albuquerque historic area. Awesome!!

This is a nice, vintage motel. It is well kept, our room was up to date and the property is quaint. Check in and out staff were friendly, the bartender was friendly and we appreciated the small food businesses in the courtyard. For being a downtown place next to a busy road, our room was very quiet. It was a little difficult to find electrical plugs for all the items we had, but its understandable considering the age of the place.

Close to old town, nice, clean room

The rooms and decor were modern chic. The lodging is located conveniently next to Old Town. I was fortunate to enjoy the beautiful weather outdoors by sitting in the courtyard. However, there were quite a few shrieking children playing in the common area shared by the businesses.
