Sonesta ES Suites Albuquerque

The room was larger than I expected. I wasn't sure about the location. It was advertised as having breakfast but due to short staffed it only had plain bagels no butter or cream cheese and yogurt. There was a list of stuff they were supposed to have but did not.

Staff nice. Decent breakfast, kept overall clean , have kitchen and laundry Convenient location to go to balloon festival park and ride location. Bed not comfortable , cheap towels, very loud from the freeway traffic due to bad insulation of the place

The location to the highway was easy enough The hotel was filthy, they didn't clean our room 1x in a 4 night stay for $800+ which is outrageous, ants in our room, 2 rolls of TP, 2 bath towels for 4 nights???, no garbage service or additional garbage bags?, missing light bulbs, I could go on...

Breakfast was good and staff was friendly. The bed in unit 1112 is absolutely horrible. It should have been replace a long time ago. The air conditioning did not work and we was told by the staff that they would provide a portable unit, which they never did. The lighting in the "living room" area is virtually non-existent, making the space basically un-usable. The bath drain is slow so plan on standing in the water.

We got there late and there was no parking so we were instructed to park on a corner inside the parking lot. Got up the next morning and someone had sideswiped our car. The GM said there were no cameras facing the parking lot. Really makes you feel secure there. Wasn't too happy with the outcome. The area felt sketchy also. In the pictures it looks like a great place to stay but definitely won't again. Bed had a curve to it. So you would roll to the center. Had to remove your own trash or be charged also.

Very attractive furnishings, well stocked kitchen. Comfy bed. Pet friendly. $100 pet deposit seemed overkill.

We got an excellent room for the money. I did book it because there was an outdoor pool but the setting needed a little help. No creamer for the coffee and asked for it but never got it.

The property is definitely showing its age. Our room was large and spacious but felt dark and dingy. The breakfast was very good, with way more options than expected. We were traveling with a trailer and were concerned with someone tampering with it.

After checking us in and charging our card, the manager rather standoffishly handed us a notice saying there would be no hot breakfast. He explained that he had to let the cook go due to documentation issues. It was frustrating to learn this only after paying. Our room also wasn't cleaned well. The dining chairs had strange smudges/residue that I easily cleaned myself. As the stay continued, it became clear there were larger operational issues. The manager seemed largely absent, multiple employees openly expressed how unhappy they were working there and even talked about walking out. The replacement cold breakfast was extremely poor, and they ran out of basics like spoons for cereal. This property seems to need immediate attention from whoever oversees it. We would appreciate a credit or other compensation for our experience. The property has potential, but what we experienced was nowhere near what was represented online.

We really enjoyed our stay in the hotel suites. We would try them again.

Ya me habia hospedado anteriormente ahi y tenían mejor servicio, en esta ocasión fue pésimo absolutamente todo, enumero los incidentes. Al llegar nos damos cuenta que la puerta del baño esta por caerse, hablamos a recepción y nos dicen "no tenemos equipo de mantenimiento venga a la oficina por un desarmador para que usted la arregle". Increíble pero cierto,, otro punto pésimo es que tu pagas el hospedaje con desayuno incluido pues por falta de personal no podían dar desayuno, argumentando que los dueños no quieren pagar horas extras y que no era su problema. Eso si olvide comentar nos dejaron una carta en el cuarto diciendo no hay desayuno, disculpen, como si eso fuera suficiente Sin dar mas explicaciones, anexo fotografías. Otro punto de calificación uno( porque no puedo poner cero) se me hicieron cargos por mas de 395 dlls su excusa fue la misma disculpe se lo vamos a solucionar. Tardaron cerca de 10 dias hasta que hable con Hoteles.com y ellos amablemente resolvieron la situación. De verdad recomiendo nunca hospedarse en esta hotel. Los Sonesta tienen PESIMO SERVICIO. no olvidando mencionar a las personas groseras y malencaradas del personal que atiende molestos por realizar su trabajo. COMPLETA INCONFORMIDAD NO LO RECOMIENDO
