The Querque Hotel

There were noticeable yellow stains on the bedsheets, which made them look like they had not been properly cleaned. I also found black hairs on the bed and bedding. The curtains had visible stains as well, and there was an empty alcohol bottle left in the bathroom from a previous guest. The sofa also had dirty marks on it, and there was even a piece of chewing gum stuck on the floor that had not been removed. On top of that, the air-conditioning control was broken when we arrived. To their credit, the staff were helpful and did come to fix it, and overall the staff were fine. Unfortunately, the poor cleanliness and lack of attention to basic housekeeping made the stay much less comfortable than it should have been.

Didn’t feel safe here— the parking lot is exposed to I didn’t feel safe leaving my car there. Then the room next to me was smoking pot and my room filled up of pot smoke. I called the front desk and it took them a while to send someone to the room. The smoking continued through until the early morning. I’m pregnant and I really disliked my experience here and I will not ever go there again.

The public bathroom was dirty , no soap in dispensers, hand paper towels was not loaded into the machine, so the roll was left on the sink area. Fresh (decaffeinated), coffee dispenser was lukewarm.

They had rooms that opened into a courtyard which was convenient for my dogs. It was quite old and not well maintained. The courtyard was weedy and overgrown with dilapidated patio chairs. There was standing water on the concrete walkway. The door to the courtyard was old and difficult to open. The furniture inside was old and broken. The bathroom was especially old with the vanity nearly falling apart. The tub/shower did not drain properly. I may have been given a bad room because I was traveling with pets. I don’t really know.

The room had no hot water in the sink. The water seemed strange. The breakfast they offer has no eggs or sausage. It's conveniently located, but I may look for a different place next time.

The room was clean and did not seem to be dirty. However, it was not in the best part of town. As a solo traveler I would be wary of staying here. There is a large crack between the bottom of the door and the floor. The deadbolt lock did not feel secure and there were very few people around. It is also right next to a truck stop and overall just a run down side of Albuquerque. I would recommend staying closer to where you come into town off of I-25!

Rooms vert very nice and the front desk staff was awesome.

The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. The staff was very helpful when my battery on my car had died. They helped jump it and told me where the nearest shop was. Everyone was very helpful and friendly.

The staff were friendly and continental breakfast was really well stocked. Super noisy, looked more like a live-to-work motel, which is fine but people were blasting music all hours, the elevator was broken and when I tried using stairwell the door to my floor was wedged shut with the handle totally broken. This felt like a last days kind of spot. Stained sheets, hairs in shower.

Our rooms had big red ants!! Gross not staying in this dirty place again. Staff is unhelpful.

The A/C unit didn’t cool the room at all had maintenance looked at the unit filters were nasty and still didn’t cool room

The staff were absolutely great! Friendly, welc9ming and accommodating. There was an indoor pool. The towels in the restroom seemed clean. HOWEVER, the smell of cigarette smoke was everywhere...even seeping into our room in the middle of the night (all the windows were closed, so don't know where it was coming from). The room was clean...except for a spot on the floor about two feet wide which was oddly sticky. The desk chair upholstery was old and peeling excessively. And all of the furniture varnish was in need of revarnishing or replacement. To end on a positive note, the beds were comfortable and seemed clean. I would never stay here again despite the friendly staff.
