Everything met my expectations, the room was a little out dated but clean and there were signs of small updates thru out the hotel and the room I stayed in, I would consider staying again when in the area
-
Shower didn’t work. Normal elevators didn’t work. No pool. Staff was nice. Room was clean. Parking was convenient.
-
Very old & outdated. Elevator did not work & we were on the 5th floor. Breakfast was fine. Would I go there again. Only if I had NO OTHER CHOICE. I do NOT reccomend!

Elevators were inoperable and lobby restrooms closed

Clean room and satisfied breakfast!

The room is clean. However, I am not sure if the vent is centralized or not because I couldn’t find any ventilation fan. The towel rod is broken and crack on the wall of the shower tub. I hope the guest elevators will be fixed soon for easy access and not the single service elevator for everybody use. Breakfast is decent.

Staffs are very friendly

Both elevators were out of service so we all had to use the only service elevator. The wait was long every-time we wanted to go somewhere or return to room.

Calls to front desk to get it sorted. Took hours to resolve..main elevators were not working and had to use service elevators. Breakfast is OK, neither great nor bad. Restrooms in lobby were out of service. The room key wasn’t working for the room they initially assigned and had to come all the way down to get it sorted and go back and it was little inconvenient given the regular elevators were not working. Overall not a great experience.

Staff was great and very nice they were great! It was clean but the walls had obvious repairs and just looked terrible the room and hotel for the most part seemed really outdated. the ac hardly worked in our room . my In-laws didn’t have hot water at all in their room. Only elevator that worked was the service elevator that you had to get to by going through the kitchen in the main lobby. If you own a large vehicle I suggest finding somewhere else to stay if you don’t fit in the parking garage. We canceled reservations for the entire weekend taking an $200 loss because my wife didn’t get the insurance unfortunately. So after our Thursday night stay we decided to check out and booked into the best western in Fredricksburg couldn’t be happier. Maybe in time it will get better but I will not be returning anytime in the future.

The property is under new management. And are going through remodeling. We had to use the service elevator. They didn't have the shuttle to Pentagon City. But the employees awesome.

I wouldn’t go so far as many of the reviews with how rundown and old this hotel is; however it is - in the kindest terms - a dump. The staff was absolutely phenomenal, but that’s not enough. My first night I had to immediately switch rooms because the refrigerator in the first room wasn’t working and the cabinet door came right off the hinges as soon as I tried to open it. The second room was fine but the toilet ran for the first 2 days. EVERYTHING is dated! The guest elevators didn’t work for most of my stay and we had to use the service elevator - which is accessed by walking through the kitchen and down a long hallway. The gym had old equipment. The rooms are old. My towels and sheets smelled like faint cigarette smoke despite not being able to smoke in the hotel. While it is in Alexandria, it is not close to anything exciting. While I stayed here in a pinch, I do not recommend it for anyone else.

Parking was easy.

Great stay…

The price was good and the staff was very helpful.

The building should be condemned

There was no hot water or water pressure in bathroom. When I notified staff I was told to wait 15/20 minutes but still no water pressure. The tub shower was falling apart. The shower wall was cracked and soap dispencers were missing. The air conditioning unit was SO loud you could not sleep. The wall thermostat (modern) was not working. The second day of my 4 days both elevators went out and we were directed to use service elevator. Inconvenience to staff and clients. My room had patched ceiling. Very bad place. I still had to pay the price. That's disgusting.

They lost my suitcase, and I had to track down the person who took it myself; it was an unbelievable experience and a real hassle. The curtain in my room was torn. I can't believe other people gave it such high ratings.

Hotel was fine. Rooms were clean. Elevators were not working. Had to use the service elevator. Appears that the property is under renovations and not done.
