Homewood Suites by Hilton Allentown-West/Fogelsville, PA

I wouldn’t stay here. The staff is the only reason why we didn’t move hotels once we checked in. Young kid at the front desk, Isaiah, absolutely amazing young man. We booked through Expedia two rooms and realized the dates were wrong. Called Expedia and they said they were able to adjust the booking dates so we thought cool. Nope. Wrong. Got to hotel and they only changed one room not two and we lost the other room. Hotel still gave us two rooms but only to discover once we checked in both rooms that someone else got the room we were in and walked right in with their key. Oh and by the way the AC wasn’t working in either of our rooms and the hallways were scorching hot too. They moved us into a suite with two bedrooms which helped and the Ac was working. The tv’s were missing remotes, the one tv didn’t work, the one tv you needed to hit the perfect yoga pose to make sure to change the channel with the one remote we did have. The bathroom shelf was about to fall off. Housekeeping never came through the whole time we were there. Hilton should be ashamed to have this hotel in this shape

Very clean very nice hotel. A young man at the front desk was very nice and courteous when I asked him for a dinner recommendation. Would definitely stay again.

The front desk and chef were very nice. The front desk helped us quickly switch rooms when we had to submit a noise complaint, shortly after checking in. The chef walked around during breakfast and assured everyone was well accommodated. I liked having a 2 bedroom suite (1 king, 2 queens, and a sleep sofa). Very roomy for a family of 5. THE SMELL WAS ATROCIOUS!!!! After making the reservation, the hotel sent a message (the usual blurb about the policies and facilities) but at the end, it mentioned "a smell" saying it comes and goes according to the wind, it's not harmful, and it's because they're located in an industrial area....Ohhh, ok.....I packed air fresheners for the rooms and thought that would suffice. WRONG. I was NOT prepared for it to be so strong and nauseating. A Walmart is located a few minutes away so I had my husband purchase some more wall plug ins. Surprisingly, it made the smell worse. It sort of smells like manure fertilizer and it doesn't "come and go"...the smell was always present BUT at times got stronger and more intense (especially early in the morning). I even tried turning off the AC to keep the smell from blowing in. My dismay with Hilton is that there are products that can be placed throughout air ducts to give commercial buildings a " good smell", they should do that. If not, reconsider if this is even a suitable location OR deeply cut the cost. I spent nearly $800 for a 2 night stay, only to leave a few hours before check out time due to the smell. The only reason I didn't look for another hotel is because my family spent our time at Dorney Park the whole day and limited time in the room. I love Homewood Suites but I will NEVER stay at this location again.

The Keurig was not provided like website stated and I had kcups shipped. Hot water in the entire suite was an ongoing issue, particularly in Master and kitchen. TV remotes didn’t turn the TV on, on any of the 3 televisions. The sliding door in the guest room kept falling off of the rail. Our key cards worked sometimes.

Staff excellent. Other than the muffins, food quality of the breakfast was poor for a hotel that features suites.

Common areas, including the lobby and dining space, were spotless and organized, which contributed to a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere throughout the stay. The attention to detail in upkeep and cleanliness really stood out and made a strong impression. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable experience, and I would absolutely return and recommend this location to others looking for a reliable and comfortable stay in the area.

Breakfast was great, real eggs! Staff was friendly and very helpful. Best hotel experience so far! Need larger towels for pool area.

Overall check in and check out was quick with digital key. Breakfast was ok with basics. The bathroom in our room didn’t seem very clean.
