Location It was under construction. No hot breakfast. No pool

Booking.com did not notate the Facility being under construction. Due to construction there was not a warm breakfast buffet that was advertised.The property was very outdated with alot of furniture and things broken or not working well. ( fridge barely cold shower head rusty, shower tile up the wall all cracked and falling apart.) The faculty Was not the cleanest with dust and hair everywhere and throughout the hotel and room it smelled really bad and musty. Overall I could not take my full stay at the property due to the conditions but the hotel day manager was very nice in assisting me to checkout and fix my reservation with booking.com

This was my 3rd time staying there. Everytime we come into town we choose this location for convenience and this time was disappointing. I arrived early staff stated they had staffing issues for rooms to be ready and cleaned which was very surprising since there was not one car in parking lot. the hotel was empty, smelled like water rot. The carpets in hall were dirty, the walls in hotel room and bathroom we chewed by dog previously and was not fixed. Not to mention the construction that is going on at 8am on sat and Sunday morning. We as guest are staying there on vacation to rest and relax not banging and drilling.. I also know the mall is set to be torn down so not sure if this all is due to that happening.. it is def not what it used to be..

I am a person of habit, which also means I'm loyal by default when things are good. I have stayed here a few times during travel visits over the years and the location is great. Usually, the staff and facilities are as well. My last stay wasn't quite the same. Check in was normal but upon entering the room, beds were made but I noticed nothing had been wiped down (counters/sinks). There were coffee rings on the desk, cup rings and spillage on the nightstand, dried up food in the microwave, etc. I don't like to complain unless TOTALLY necessary, so I just wiped it down myself because I was exhausted from my travels. However, within less than maybe 30 minutes of being in the room ROACHES were coming from behind the light fixtures on the wall and out the dishwasher. I immediately secured any belongings I had and called the front desk. The response was "You may not be able to change rooms and I would have to check with my manager!" LIKE WHAT?!?! I felt it was such a disregarding statement. No apology, no immediate let's fix this for you, no offer of refund, etc. The lack of professionalism and proper customer training in that kind of moment was a complete turn off from all the other wonderful stays. Luckily, the manager told her to switch my room. I kept waking up in the middle of the night checking for roaches in the new room and I never want to deal with that again. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Pretty disgusting.

Pool was closed during the hottest month of the year, doors to the hotel where left opened, our air didn't work when we arrived, but someone came and fixed it.(who was a very nice man)

Location Terrible hygiene and noisy appliances plus swimming construction noise. Pull out bed was also flat and uncomfortable with a feeling like directly sleeping on the spring. Floor was dirty with visible sticky maps from no sanitization.

Literally the worst money I’ve ever spent. It was filthy, the air conditioning didn’t work and all they did to remedy this was a plug in fan. It was August so that was literally no help. Toilet was broken and room was disgustingly dirty. Never stay here.

Breakfast was great, parking lot was easily accessible. The staff were very friendly. The pool was closed for the season so we didn't use that. The door to our bathroom and one of the outer doors to the building didn't close correctly, probably from humidity. The property does show that it's going to be renovated, so that may be one of the things they address. But everything was pretty good. The fold out bed was not great for our kid, the mattress was pretty thin. If they invested in some bunkie boards or a better mattress for the fold out that would be good. Our kid ended up just sleeping on the sofa instead of folding it out. Otherwise everything else was great for our stay.
