Comfort Inn Alton near I-255

The manager is rude. There was kids and drunk people being loud in the hallway, causing my dog to bark, and I got in trouble. I had to take my dog with me everywhere because she was threatening to kick me out, and I didn’t have anywhere else to go I did apologize and the people I seen in the hallway that I apologize to weren’t upset whatsoever so I’m confused who was complaining? It says online there’s a pool but the fire department shut it down last year.

I had to get my card rekeyed everyday to access my room. and, i had to keep taking my computer to the office to gain internet access.

Have a great continental breakfast

Curtains had holes in them. Comforters had a rip in it. Front desk staff was wearing lounge pants and a tshirt. Comfort in has always been my hotel of choice when traveling. They’re now just as run down and mismanaged as all the rest. Disappointed overall

Never got to a room! Front desk was empty for 15 minutes. We left and went to another hotel!

Clean and neat room. 1 window had a bent frame on the outside but no problem since I was on the 2nd floor. The room could use a little updating but did not affect my stay. It was clean. Bed was comfortable. I slept well

Ok, easy to find. Ok breakfast. Carpets needed cleaning. Got put in a handicap room, unnecessary.

Location Dirty no pool

There’s a train track right next to the hotel. Don’t expect a quiet place to sleep. The place doesn’t feel very safe. Back door doesn’t lock. I won’t stay there again.

Pool has been out of order for 6 months now - was my favorite til then

We got there and we're expecting a nice Comfort inn. Part of the problem was I probably should have read some of the previous reviews because it has gotten horrible reviews recently. The property is very outdated And dingy looking. The floors were not cleaned. And the pool has been broken for over 3 months. The next morning the breakfast was very limited and not well stocked. We were scheduled to stay two nights but literally just slept there and went to a different hotel the next day

I need to be refunded, I checked in on the 4th and checked out early on the 5th. I need someone from you company to contact me right away

Room had mold smell. Mold on the closet door. Bathroom was had dirty around the floor board. Carpet in the room need a real good cleaning. The swimming pool was out of order. On a good note breakfast is nice.

Everything else. Horrible cleanliness, zero updates, yucky breakfast with fruit flies and a pool advertised that’s been closed for over a year.

The hotel was in a good location to what we needed. There was no manager on duty for a Holiday weekend. The non smoking room smelled like smoke and is in my cpap for the next few days. They ran out of breakfast food. For a holiday weekend that is poor planning. There was no hair dryer in the room. Overall just not the standard for Comfort Inn.

Toilet was more of a rocking chair. Needs paint. Pool has been out of service since the last time I stayed there the beginning of summer. For an extra 10$ I can stay next door
