Travelodge by Wyndham Amarillo West Medical Center

This place was a dump and operated under a different name. I unloaded everyrhing out of my truck in fear of a break in.

I asked for a quiet room and they gave me the one next to the human trafficking room where prostituti0n and human trafficking was taking place. Also, painting above in the room after hours. I called the police who informed me that children were found in a room without food or supervision earlier in the night. Do not stay here.

The tub was clogged so when you shower your standing in water the food isn’t the best but everything else was good the staff was amazing!

Room 122: Tub/toilet looked like hadn't been cleaned in a long time, no trash barrel, terrible smell, smokey, microwave all rusted out, trash all over grounds. A filthy place. Sheet look questionable, stains. Bed was comfortable but didn't sleep well in those conditions. Thought about leaving but I was exhausted from driving. Weekly rentals people hanging out on balcony and parking lot drinking. Don't do it!!!

Beware. I booked here online. Showed up in the evening to check in. This is an establishment where people obviously live by renting by the week. It did not feel safe. The front desk clerk was being trained by somebody on a speaker cell phone. When I entered the lobby there was a loud argument going on between a guest checking in and the trainer on the cell phone that continued for about 20 minutes while I waited. During that time there were three groups of people that came through to get drinks and towels and were obviously short term rental residents. I’m not a fearful person in general but suffice it to say the environment did not safe. I went ahead and checked in and when we drove around to find our room there were groups of people drinking and partying on the balcony’s. People walking dogs and financial transactions seemed to be happening. We drove back to the front and I returned my room card and we found a property nearby that was much safer, even though we had to pay for a second room. I would like a refund but didn’t feel safe hanging around to discuss with the front desk as another conflict had broken out at the front desk.

Found food in the fridge from a previous guest. Floors and general room didn’t feel super clean. Loud and visible gaps in the door letting light and sound in

The towels were not clean and smelt like oil.

The room was dirty. Whenever I got there there was stains on the floor. The floors never was mopped ice bucket had something all over it that looked really nasty. Tops of the tables had not been wiped off and had smears all over it like mucus or something it was really bad so I went to the office. They changed my room and the second room was basically the same but I was exhausted and just went to bed. I did tell them and I told them I was displeased with the condition of the room and the filthiness of the room.

Cheap Horrible breakfast offerings, unclean towels, soap dispensers detached from wall and on back of toilet just sitting there

Fixtures broken with live wires visible.

The bathtub was gross
