Rooms were clean and well tidy. Pool could use a little more tlc.

This is where we always want to stay when visiting, picking up, or dropping off our son to ISU. It's a very convenient location and the staff is wonderful. Last year, when we came down to help him move out of the dorm, the whole place was decorated with ISU merch and graduation decorations... it felt like a home away from home. It's a big part of why we like so much that our son chose to attend ISU and of course gives us more reason to come down and visit him. Thank You!

Good quality breakfast foods. While it's the usual array of hotel breakfast options, the food was well prepared, hot and tasted as it should. Everything was clean and staff was available, friendly and helpful.

Room was clean and quiet. I wish the breakfast had a couple more options.

Our room smell a bit musty & perfumy. The fridge didn't work & the toilet was loose. We've been staying here for years because we have family nearby. The property was really nice when it was new, it's showing it's age and could use a refresh and deep clean.

Breakfast was great and the rooms were clean. This was our first stay.

Very clean, looked updated, new carpeting. I was very pleasantly surprised. Will stay there again in the future. Had a coffee maker with cappuccino and latte options. Nothing

Second time we have stayed there. The rooms are comfy and roomy. The staff is helpful and attentive. Breakfast is very good with solid options. My main issue is the parking lot lighting. There are 4 light fixtures for the parking lot however 2 are out and 1 is blinking leaving 1 working light. It’s very dark as a result and our daughter felt a bit unsafe walking out to the car alone. Hope that the management team addresses this safety issue.

Excellent location, clean room and good breakfast

The lobby was very nice. Free breakfast. Good coffee. Friendly front desk reception. Good location. Liked the separate sitting room. Very large TV in bedroom, and good sized one in sitting room. The room had strong mildew smell that grossed us out. Seemed run down a bit too.

Hotel was safe for kids easy parking with ramp, pool, hot tub, books in lobby for kids, good free breakfast options, staff members very kind and multi task to make your stay great. Nice outdoor porch to sit and relax, pricing not over the top easy drive to university of Iowa, all kinds of food and needed stops working one or two miles away, 40mins from Drake stadium or adventure land. This visit however I noticed that the property was dirty, my room smelled like smoke and there were no outlets on the nightstands or anywhere near the bed. The breakfast tasted weird and the hot water dispenser was broken. I would have overlooked all of these things if the staff had been nice, but the receptionist acted as if my arrival was a major inconvenience. She may have been having a bad day, but as someone who tries to be kind and polite to everyone I encounter, it really tarnished my opinion of the property.
