Great place with a pet to stop on a road trip. Lovely outdoor look and easy check in and breakfast

It was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast had good options and the coffee machine was a plus.

Appreciate being able to get early arrival for midweek wedding . Hotel was fairly empty midweek and possible by calling early. Breakfast offered is plentiful even though we had plans for brunch out . Did not visit pool area or fitness areas.

Check in was easy and staff were friendly. Hot breakfast was great. Hot tub was nice and hot.

Nice hotel south of campus

The hotel is amazing and in a very good place. The hotel was very clean and maintained. It was peaceful there. I loved the porches on the front and back. It was great to sit on them and just relax.

Nice and kind staff. Clean and comfy rooms. Great breakfast. Coffee, juice and flavored water available all day. Pool and gym were clean and wonderful. Close to campus & stores/restaurants.

Best Western is our go to hotel when we visit Ames. The breakfast bar has a variety to choose from, including waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, bagels, etc. The rooms are clean and comfortable and well maintained. It’s a short drive to the university and the Reiman Gardens a great place to wander about as well as their butterfly enclosure. The staff I’d friendly and helpful. When in Ames stay at the Best Western.

Very comfortable room. And quiet & good breakfast. Jacuzzi was not warm enough, & felt like the sides needed to be cleaned.

Breakfast was well done, the room temperature was comfortable, and there was no noise during the night. The beds were some what uncomfortable, but overall the room was acceptable. We were staying only one night and left right away in the morning for Special Olympics State track which was at Iowa's University. I really liked the closeness to the field.
