Best Western Plus University Park Inn & Suites

The property is spacious, but overall, it falls short of expectations. It appears old and has a musty smell.

Clean place to sleep with decent breakfast.

Nice lobby area with tables where we could share a meal together. Did not use the pool or hot tub but both looked clean and inviting. Check in was as expected no issues. Breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold choices and was kept supplied through the whole breakfast time. Nice surprise to find the free coffee machine in the lobby with 24 hour access where you could get latte’s, cappuccino or other favored coffees. Was clean with comfortable bed. Some little signs of wear and tear in the rooms. But overall a very nice stay and we would come here again

Room was large & comfortable. Good sized mini fridge. Bed was comfy. Staff was friendly. 8 mins from Best Western is a street with a lot of food choices; I think it was S Duff? Check with staff.

Door keys quit working several times in one day.

just an overnight stay. out early. clean and comfy

Room was clean and well appointed. Breakfast was good. The access from other doors was closed off, I had to have both room keys reprogrammed and I was there less than 24 hrs. Also the hot tub was cold and there were no towels at the pool. Staff was nice and courteous.

It was quite expensive for a one night stay in a just so-so suite room. No onsite restaurant for almost $400 for one night. Room was pretty plain and doesn’t seem to have been updated in a long while.

Clean and staff were very friendly! Breakfast was very good. The housekeeping staff was very helpful some of the nicest people I have met. Location was excellent for our venue. Price was very competitive.

The room was clean . We only stayed one night . My son swam in the pool . The staff is really nice and helps with whatever you need . There's a gas station right next door . Walking distance.

I booked online. I used a credit card and we thought when we got there we would complete the transaction and either use our military discount or AARP however when we got there I was told because I prepaid I was not eligible to get a discount. The icemaker on the 2nd floor was out of order as was the emergency exit. The room certainly was not worth the price we paid. Then I got a receipt with zeros on it because I booked through expedia but I didn't it was very confusing and caused me stress.

Spent one night for an activity nearby in Boone. Staff checkin and check out was ok, a little cold and brief.

The next morning, there was 2 front desk staff, they both would go outside and smoke at the same time. Again, leaving guests looking around for help.

I was locked out of my room for 12 hours because the lock wasn’t working. Tried 4 new keys and no one knew how to change the battery on the lock until the next shift came in. Every time I needed back in my room I had to go find the front desk person and have them unlock my door with the master key. Do you know how hard it is to always find a person at the front desk on a weekday??? They would put a sign out on the counter when no one was there and it said to ring the bell or call a certain phone number. You know where the phone number rang to?…the front desk! It was actually comical at a certain point because no one is at the front desk and I thought maybe they would have a cell phone with that number and come to the desk! Nope, I had to go find the person. When I checked out, I asked for a refund or discount and the front desk lady didn’t apologize at all, instead she said that only happened for half of my stay! No hint of customer service or empathy or help! Just directed me to call Expedia myself. I definitely will! Really it should be her to call and tell them what happened. That is what customer service really is!!! In addition, the coffee pot was clogged and after staff tried to unclog it, the stuff that came out looked disgusting. Breakfast looked good until I went to get biscuits and gravy and the the biscuits were moldy. I only stayed one night because my dog was at a nearby emergency vet hospital and there was a chance she might die; didn’t need this stress too!!!

Great place with a pet to stop on a road trip. Lovely outdoor look and easy check in and breakfast
