Ugh but cheap -just needed a room.

Room needed a lot of maintenance with stained ceilings, cracks in tile, scratched paint on walls. Pull out sofa bed was broken and had no bedding. When I asked for bedding i got 2 sheets, no blanket & 1 pillow. AC unit was so loud it shook our bed. Pool was so tiny 4 people in it was too many. No hot tub like pictures showed. Breakfast needed to be longer hours for weekend. Not worth the $400+ spent on 1 night.

Room size was great. Staff was polite and gave a great dinner recommendation.

Our hotel room had such a strong odor that we had to switch rooms the second night and the refrig in our room did not work so we had nowhere to store leftovers from dinner. The staff was understanding but not surprised.

Clean rooms and friendly staff. The breakfast could have been better by having fresh fruit and biscuits and gravy.

The room was very nice and spacious. Awesome amenities!

I could have looked past how tired the room was… rusty metal, flaking paint, musty sofa. But I have to leave the lowest review score I’ve ever left because of the bugs. On tge first night we arrived and killed a couple on the kitchen walls. I put it out of my mind until returned after dark on second night. Flipped on the light and saw them running everywhere to hide… up behind the smoke detector, across the counters, down the walls. I smashed those I could and left small and large specimens so staff could see what they were. There didn’t seem to be a manager available when I checked out but I urged the clerk NOT to rent out that third floor room until it was addressed. I hope it was isolated but the room was near the middle of the hall …

My daughter was with us and was to sleep on the pull out sleeper sofa. The mattress was so stained that she refused to sleep on it. I don’t blame her. There were no sheets or pillows in the room for the sleeper sofa either. I had to get them myself. We slept on top of the mattress in the bedroom because we did not want to find out how stained that mattress was. They really need to put a queen sized bed in the room as this one was a full and very uncomfortable. Repairs needed to be done badly.You can see that there was a lot of water damage in the room. You can see the drywall tape. The sink in the bathroom was clogged. You can tell the whole building felt damp. Smelled like a barn also or had a distinct odor. The one positive I have is the staff was nice and the room set up was nice with a two burner stove and a full fridge. It would be good for someone to stay for a period of time that’s if they make the proper repairs. My likes and dislikes are above.

Clean room. A decent place to stay. Minimal. I had a two bedroom room but it had a mini fridge. I stayed here in June and had a one bedroom with a full size fridge. Also, no vanity in the bathroom. Just a sink and a ledge. Sausage and gravy breakfast was plain Jane, n95h8nt special.

The location was the best part of the experience. It is within walking distance to several good restaurants and shopping is also close by. Iowa State is a short couple minute drive or about a 2 mile walk which is nice as well. The hotel room was dirty. They did not provide coffee in the room, no Kleenex, or fresh towels were provided. The breakfast was free and terrible. The hotel is run down and not being cared for as it should be.
