My daughter was with us and was to sleep on the pull out sleeper sofa. The mattress was so stained that she refused to sleep on it. I don’t blame her. There were no sheets or pillows in the room for the sleeper sofa either. I had to get them myself. We slept on top of the mattress in the bedroom because we did not want to find out how stained that mattress was. They really need to put a queen sized bed in the room as this one was a full and very uncomfortable. Repairs needed to be done badly. You can see that there was a lot of water damage in the room. You can see the drywall tape. The sink in the bathroom was clogged. You can tell the whole building felt damp. Smelled like a barn also or had a distinct odor. The one positive I have is the staff was nice and the room set up was nice with a two burner stove and a full fridge. It would be good for someone to stay for a period of time that’s if they make the proper repairs. My likes and dislikes are above.

Clean room. A decent place to stay. Minimal. I had a two bedroom room but it had a mini fridge. I stayed here in June and had a one bedroom with a full size fridge. Also, no vanity in the bathroom. Just a sink and a ledge. Sausage and gravy breakfast was plain Jane, n95h8nt special.

The location was the best part of the experience. It is within walking distance to several good restaurants and shopping is also close by. Iowa State is a short couple minute drive or about a 2 mile walk which is nice as well. The hotel room was dirty. They did not provide coffee in the room, no Kleenex, or fresh towels were provided. The breakfast was free and terrible. The hotel is run down and not being cared for as it should be.

I had to clean the coffee table and the bedside table with Clorox wipes that I brought with me. Sticky and gooey stuff on both tables. Some very dried on. We had no knifes. 2 cups and 3 bowls. Basically nothing. The second day I had to chase the housekeeper down to get towels and wash clothes. The trash can in the kitchen was emptied, however I needed bring one of the trash cans to housekeeping because she missed it. The housekeeping lady had her baby (6- 8 month old)with her as she was working. It's been a while since we stayed here and we were very disappointed. My daughter had a different room and the last time we were there was about 3 years ago. It's been our "go to" when visiting that area. There was a very big cobweb in the corner of the room. Every time I asked the front desk for anything he said "I can't help because I'm the only one here."

Location, staff, amenities were all wonderful. The breakfast was decent and made life easier, rooms were well taken care of, the soaps provided were a pleasant surprise and the staff is the absolute best. We we’ve stayed here several times, some rooms need a thorough deep cleaning (coloring on the walls from past guests) and some have better A/C than others.

Check in was quick and easy. The front desk worker was welcoming and friendly. The place was nice and our room seemed to be fairly newly painted. Our toilet paper dispenser was missing the metal tube to put the toilet paper roll on. We were going to let the front desk know as we left, but no one was there. Not a big deal, but it should be fixed. Breakfast was fine. Quite a few choices, but no hot eggs over the weekend we were there. Disappointing, but there were several other choices. No real complaints and we would definitely stay there again.

Hotel was very poorly maintained. Room was not the cleanest. Pool was not maintained well. Photos on website are not updated. They no longer have a hot tub either.

The room size was fantastic, and the front desk worker was friendly and very helpful. The mattress for the pullout couch had red stains on it, we also found red, sticky residue on the table and the bathroom door. We would have preferred more variety for breakfast (eggs, toppings for the oatmeal).

The desk manager was very nice and the room set up was great ? There was a jar of peanut butter and a bag of garbage left in a cabinet . In the bathroom there was a washcloth from previous guest hanging over shower curtain rod . There was no plug for bathtub . I had to use a rag . There was a lightbulb out in bathroom . No decaf coffee in room and no creamer .

Affordable and all units have full size fridge and hot plates Significantly older property - ancient couches and not enough equipment to actually cook a meal in the suite.
