Abby's Anaheimer Inn

We had a convention at the convention center. The location is great, 13 min walk and walking distance to lots of restaurants. Honestly, this was great, it’s not super quiet but totally manageable. It was perfect for us especially since we didn't want to pay hotel room prices. Loved the free parking.

Had my son really not wanted to have to move, I would not have stayed at this hotel once I saw the bedding and the bathroom. It had been updated but it is was not done well, and walls, doors and doorframes are clearly not cleaned or repainted with any regularity. I was hoping for something around Best Western quality and this is definite just a cheap motel.

Nothing Promised early check in, told they could not accommodate us after agreeing to it. Next pool was completely yellow, not secured- gar left unlocked, cockroach found in bathroom, bedroom window would it lock.

Bed & pillows were comfortable after 2 long days in the parks. Room was spacious & the mini fridge & AC worked amazing in the high heat & humidity The parking was awful. Both nights we came back from the park with no space to park due to other guests being allowed to take 2 spaces for their 1 vehicle. We alerted the staff in the office, and were just told to park where there was availability if we were already checked in. We advised that yes, we were checked in & were guests, but they said they could do nothing about the parking situation.

The pillows were comfy. The stay itself was nice, the room was decent, the staff I encountered while there was nice, the hot tub was cold and dirty. My biggest complaint however, I was charged a 100$ deposit fee that I was not aware of before check in. I was told after check out the deposit would be returned to me in a couple days since it was just a “hold”. No big deal EXCEPT I wasn’t charged 100$ for the deposit I was charged MORE than that!! The receipt said 100$ but my bank account showed something way different. I have sent numerous emails and have made numerous calls and I am being ignored. The one time I did talk to someone they said I was lying and it was impossible this was happening to me. So I provided proof. I stayed a month ago. And the hold IS STILL PENDING!!!! This hotel steals money and ignores you hoping you go away so they can get rid of you. I HAVE PROOF YOU OVER CHARGED ME AND THAT THE HOLD IS NOT BEING RELEASED!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!!!

I loved the area and how clean everything looked. Unfortunately during my stay the drains were giving us a hard time. Everytime we used the sink or shower the water would not drain away and stayed in the sink for a few hours. And once it went down it left all the gunk in the sink/shower. Everything else was wonderfully clean and lovely, it was just the drains.

Location Staff was in the hallway outside my room at night, and you could hear him talking and going back and forth, not sure if he was doing any specific task but was very loud at 11:00 PM. We had to open the door at least 3 times and make him aware we needed him to tone it down.
