Anaheim Marriott Hotel

I loved everything about the Anaheim Marriott. Our room was very large, clean, and quiet. The amenities onsite were amazing. The grounds were so tropical and immaculate. Our view from the 14th floor was incredible. We could see the city and California Adventure from our window, and even saw the fireworks from Disneyland every night.

Quick and easy check in, clean rooms.

At 5:00 AM, we were woken up because someone in the room next to us was smoking. The smoke completely filled our room, forcing us to pack up and move rooms after being awakened so early. The pool area was also dirty and poorly maintained, which was disappointing for a Marriott property. Our biggest frustration was with the front desk. At check-in, we asked about a late checkout. My fiancée had already confirmed on Marriott’s website that checkout until 6:00 PM was available for $60. The front desk told us the latest checkout was 4:00 PM and charged us $100. After we showed them the website, they agreed to let us stay until 6:00 PM but still refused to honor the advertised $60 price, charging us the full $100 instead. The only highlight was the restaurant staff. They were friendly, attentive, and professional despite being clearly understaffed. There were only two employees serving what looked like about 40 guests, and they handled it remarkably well. Overall, between the smoke-filled room, dirty pool, inconsistent pricing, and poor front desk service, this stay fell far below the standard we expect from Marriott. The restaurant staff was the only part of our experience that exceeded expectations.

Clean rooms and can’t beat the location for Convention Center!

I stayed for one night at this hotel and the level of cleanliness was a disaster. The windows were so dirty that you couldn’t see through them and the bathroom was not properly cleaned. The only advantage is that it is adjacent to the convention center.

Room was clean, and the hotel is in a prime location. Very close to Disneyland, Downtown Disney, and many restaurants.
