Reviews

The staff were super friendly and lovely.
-
Property was close to all the enjoyment of Disneyland surrounding areas
-
Room is very clean and comfortable, staff are very friendly and helpful.
-
shower flow is low, toilet does flush well, and one of our rooms' ac doesn't work well. Otherwise, the rooms are clean and beds are comfortable.

Always a great place to stay
-
Room was dirty and sewage smell in my room. Would not recommend !
-
Clean room nice amenities gym was nice. Overall great stay

Pool was awesome.

Very nice, well maintained property. The staff was kind and helpful. The only downside is that after a long day out they seem to be the only recent hotel we’ve stayed in where you can’t access Netflix, Apple TV, HBO, etc. Not a big deal but would have been nice to relax with something like that as we’ve gotten used to at other properties.

This was our first time staying at Sonesta and we will definitely be back again for our next Disney trip. The bed was very comfortable, the room was spacious and the room and hotel was very clean. Unfortunately didn’t have the chance to go in the pool but definitely will next time we’re there. Definitely recommend this hotel and also was only 8 minutes of a drive from Disneyland which was very convenient.
-
The pool was closed until our last day so that wasn’t good otherwise everything else was good

We could not use the pool. We had to go to another hotel to use a pool. We had to pay for parking to get into that pool. They said they’d reimburse us but the process wasn’t easy. Also, there is not free breakfast. You have to buy it at the grill in the hotel. The advertising is misleading.

We stayed for 8 nights. Negative encounters: pool was out of commission, and we requested a room refresh twice and a full cleaning once but only got a cleaning that was a day late. Overall, staff was friendly and the place was clean. The location was walkable (20 minutes) to the Garden Walk and Disneyland, and felt safe to do at night. Very convenient for getting on I-5.
-
Overall experience was ok. Hotel nice and close to Disneyland. Also close to freeway so some traffic noise but air conditioner mitigation helped
-
Really comfortable bed. Clean. I would have stayed somewhere closer to Disneyland if I understood the location better. Looks close on the map but is a 25 minute walk.
-
Didn’t check in. Wasn’t told pool was under construction. Looked like AC wasn’t working. I decided to stay else where.
-
The room was not clean, the floors and shower were the dirtiest. There is dust on the bed frame, no updated outlets for C-port chargers, the tv remote barely worked and the bed mattress was not good as you can feel/hear the springs. Overall, the room sucked but the staff was very nice. I would not stay there again nor recommend it to anyone but I guess for the price I paid, it makes sense. Plus it’s also further away from Disneyland, not worth the hassle.

Pool closed , no shuttle service as advertised, air conditioning didn’t work…
-
Pool was closed. No real amenities on property. Restaurant sucked.

On the downside, housekeeping was a major issue. Even though I was staying for over a week, I was only allowed to request room cleaning once. Despite giving more than 24 hours’ notice, our room was still missed for three consecutive days and wasn’t cleaned until our final day. Check-in was also frustrating. The front desk staff member entered the wrong checkout date on our parking pass twice, and I had to return multiple times to have it corrected to avoid the risk of our car being towed. A small handful of staff members came across as rude during these early interactions, which made the beginning of our stay uncomfortable. On a positive note, I did appreciate that although the hotel pool was closed, they arranged access to a nearby partner hotel’s pool, which was a nice alternative. I also want to acknowledge that one of the managers, JB, took the time to step in and help correct several of the issues we experienced, and we truly appreciated that effort and follow-through. We also met several kind and helpful staff members later in our stay who helped improve the overall experience. Might stay again. Just not for as long of the time.
