Alex Hotel & Suites Anchorage Airport

Seemed a little expensive for a room with outdated amenities and the staff wasn’t very warm. All was fine but $290.00 a night seemed high priced compared to other places I’ve stayed in AK.

The room was spacious and very clean. Parking was adequate.

Staff was very supportive and helpful

My room was clean, maybe the carpet needed to be shampooed. Staff was reliable. Breakfast was good.

The king bed was high and very comfortable the staff was awesome Maintenance in hotel is poor bathroom door would not even come close to shut no mats for bathtub too slick for older people got stuck in elevator for 25 minutes elevator got shut down at least they had two need to have stair ways open not just for emergencies

The interior lobby and corridors seemed neglected and a bit dirty, and the room showed its age. There was a pervasive smell of overpowering cleaning products, and the bathroom floor was covered in some kind of sticky film. I mentioned this to the front desk staff immediately, and as mentioned above housecleaning arrived fairly promptly to re-mop that floor. The room was also uncomfortably warm when we arrived, but there is an air conditioner by the window to cool things down. The television doesn't seem to receive HD channels, that wasn't an issue for us.

It was a good hotel, the one thing I don't really care for is the price of the hotels in Alaska during the Summer.

I liked how close it was to the airport and that it had free breakfast and an airport shuttle. The room was clean. It is great if you are planning to catch a cruise ship the next day. All staff were nice and helpful.

Convenient location and free breakfast were good.

The cleaning staff were friendly but it was clear they were anxiously waiting for guests to check out even though it was not yet near check out time.

Staff were helpful, but our room was not in good condition. The blackout curtains were broken and our bedspread appeared to have a bloodstain.

This place was no better

Clean convenient Lobby had janitorial equipment and supplies in reception are and cluttered with items not appropriate for welcome area

I request a suite, I like the top floor. I do not have complaints

Close to airport with shuttle. Linens, bathtub was damaged, bathroom door was damaged, breathfast, no signage for the property

Totally run down. Will never stay here again

The stuff at the reception desk was very helpful and nice. This hotel needs major renovations. Also It smells like food everywhere.

Our room was huge and comfortable. The room needs some updating. Get rid of the carpeting.

Very nice, staff, Building and rooms are old, you may see signs of aging wear and tear of the appliances in your room
