Wyndham Garden Anchorage Airport

The property was very dated and the rooms and bathrooms were very dirty. Some, not all of the staff were extremely rude.

This property was very convenient being next to the airport, and there is a stuffed polar bear in the lobby, other than that, the hotel is in need of some basic maintenance, and the staff is ambivalent about customer service.

I stayed at this hotel 3 nights. Housekeeping didn’t service my room at all. No “do not disturb” sign on the door. In fact, I didn’t have a sign. I saw housekeeping in the hall but they never came to my room. No fresh towels. No replenished coffee. Nothing. Room was dirty when I checked in too. I’m not completely sure someone hadn’t already slept in the bed. Worst hotel I’ve stayed in in a long time.

We booked this for one night before our flight out. The pictures looked great, and I figured it would be fine because it’s a Wyndham. The woman who checked us in was extremely nice, but the charm ended there. The hallway was fairly dirty, but the room was next level horror show. There were stains everywhere- some of them looked like blood, like a lot of blood. We started reading reviews talking about a car broken into the night before, vagrants doing drugs by the dumpster, etc. We were lucky that another hotel opened up and we just booked it and left. We would have been terrified to stay there overnight, especially with kids with us. No way. They again were super helpful at the desk when we said we needed to leave, and thank goodness we were able to.

First room didn’t have any hot water, got moved into a room that wasn’t as nice and the water still wasn’t hot. Breakfast was good though.

The hotel was filthy, especially the carpets. The outside landscaping had weeds everywhere. Our room did not have the coffee maker, ice bucket or any cups. This place is a dump. There is a place right across the street called Puffin Inn that looked well kept from the outside- if we ever come back we will definitely not stay at the Wyndham.

AFTER talking to the front desk 4 times to get our complimentary shuttle & waiting ONE HOUR from a property that is 2 miles away, they called me back to tell me that we didn’t have a room.

I like the location, I didn’t like the loose cracked tiles in the bathroom

We left and found and hotel for our second night Going to try to get our money reimbursed

It's a nice hotel.

We expected a nicer hotel for $400+ per night.

Our car was broken into in the hotel parking lot and valuables were stolen. To make matters worse, the CCTV cameras were not working, leaving no way to identify the culprit. The parking lot was also not secured by room key access as advertised. I would not stay here again.

Breakfast was disgusting, floors and hallways were dirty

Our July 25 reservation was our 3rd visit and last reservation in one week. It was terrible due to the behavior of another or other's loud noises starting around midnight for about 30 minutes before the Front Desk seemed to have stopped the loud pounding noise, But at 2:30 am. the loud noise reappeared and continued until we checked out at 3a.m. In total we had about 2+ hours of sleep and should be issued a refund for this expensive $400/night hotel room.

For 2 of our 3 separate nights at the hotel during the same week, we liked the staff. The brekfast was OK but not great. The bathroom or bedroom did not have even 1 glass to use for bathroom necessities. Overall, not a great hotel for $400/night. Location was the only strong feature as it was near the airport.

Laundry facilities, free shuttle to the airport and breakfast included. Clean, comfortable room. Some front desk staff were more helpful than others.

The room and all public areas within the hotel were very dirty. The staff was friendly, but the place needs a major overhaul. Would not recommend staying here.

Decent property overall

When we got to the property we could tell right away it was very worn and old. The room was not very well maintained. There was no shower curtain and it took us twice to ask for one before house keeping brought one to the room and finally hung it up. There were stains on the fabric furniture, the curtains were stained and had holes in them. It was dingy and old and was not worth the price they were charging. Canceled the remaining reservations and went to another hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. We have never had good luck with Wyndham properties and we will not stay in them again.

Front desk was sometimes friendly and sometimes very unfriendly, but never helpful the room was heavily worn, with items left by the previous guest Breakfast, if you can call it that was the least they could get by offering. I would not recommend this property
