Good overall experience staying at hotel

I think I should be compensated for hotel.com not updating their website to let me know that the pool was closed down. That’s not fair to the customers at all. That’s false advertisement that the pool was open. Crazy

Staff was lovely, room was so comfortable! Area was perfect for me and my dogs

Stayed overnight passing through on our couples weekend! Modern room for a decent price. Front desk was welcoming and friendly. Quiet location, both inside and outside. Clean room and property is our biggest plus!

Great hotel. Clean room and great amenities. The staffs are friendly.

The stuff was very nice. The room was nice and clean. The pool was shut down though for our who stay with caution tape all over it so it obviously not closed for just one day. The pool was the reason why we chose this property to stay at. With two young kids this is what they get most excited about. With the pool not able to be used and no indication before we arrived that it was closed, it was disappointing.

Nice area, clean rooms and nice staff.

The room’s thermostat had a note taped on it that said you couldn’t use it; you had to use the panel on the heating and cooling unit below the window. The heating and cooling unit’s caulking showed signs of leakage (there were brown stains on the caulking). There was no clock in the room. The lighting was very poor. The bathroom sink hot water handle wouldn’t shut off the water if you didn’t put it into just the right position. One of the entrance doors from the outside of the hotel that required the use of a room key to open had a faulty handle that had a note taped to it advising you to move the handle a certain way if it didn’t open; that is a safety issue that should be addressed. When returning to my room in the evening, housekeeping had not serviced the room. When I asked the representative at the front desk why the room was not cleaned I was told that housekeeping does not make the bed and that I could get a set of towels. The next night, I expected the room to be in disarray again, but when I entered the room the usual housekeeping was complete including the bed being made. This is very inconsistent, and caused the housekeeping staff tips, as I did not leave any. And, during checkout I was advised a receipt for my payment would be emailed to me; as of this time, I have not received an email with my receipt. I can not recommend this hotel and will not be staying here again.

There was no breakfast provided for my stay. I would have like breakfast, if there was one the front desk said anything about a breakfast.

Rooms seem damp all the time. Breakfast is not worth the 16.00
-
The water pressure in the shower was amazing.
-
Very comfortable bed! Nothing

Enjoy the swimming pool

The worst DoubleTree hotel. It is more likely an Inn. Stayed there for two nights during the weekend. The bar wasn't even open. No room service at the evening shift. They didn't provide blankets for the pullout sofa bed. Hotel carpet was dirty.

Great and clean facilities It stated breakfast included on booking.com however breakfast is not included and is pre paid voucher only
-
The fridge I. Our room 143 was broken and makes a lot of noise. We were already arrived late so I did not complain and went to bed but it’s very disturbing and hard to sleep.
-
This was a very average hotel that was not in the best location that charged me to park in their giant parking lot. Seems like a money grab.
-
The cleanliness, friendly staff, & restaurant. Price at the time
-
Had to oay $5:a night for parking for no reason.
-
Popular hotel likely because it is close to the UMich North Campus. There are better options around town.
