Unfortunately, although it looks like they are working on the property and making improvements, as travelers we need all of the amenities to be available. Very inconvenient.

I was very disappointed with my stay. The property attempted to keep my security deposit without providing a refund, which was extremely frustrating. In addition, many of the advertised amenities were unavailable, barely functional, or severely limited during my stay. Essential items that were listed as included—such as towels and an iron—were not provided at all. The listing did not accurately reflect the experience, and I would advise future guests to be cautious and clarify what amenities will actually be available before booking.

They asked for a security deposit when I checked in. No big deal. When I asked to refund it to my card at check out, they said it would show up on the crad later. Haven't seen it yet.

Nice and super clean!

there was no telephone in the room. there was no remote control for the TV in the room. there was no coffee maker in the room but there were packets of coffee. and they charged my card a $75 damage deposit they shouldn't have charged it they should have just waited and if there was damages then Bill me I want my $75 back. I've been calling and calling there and they don't answer their phone so somebody please help me get my money back. we did not damage the room. there was already a hole in the wall and I took a picture of it and showed the front desk and they admitted that they knew it was there.

Not even get a room, my reservation was cancelled unable to stay.

Half clean. Prior used towels on the floor. New ones where they were supposed to be. Trash not emptied. One bed made nicely. Other one made them someone napped on top

Location Smells. No chair to sit, only beds to sit on. No shower curtains. Breakfast was cereal n bread.

nothing never even stayed. ended up driving home. Did not feel safe with my grandchildren. What a waste of money. I expect WAY more of Wyndham/Howard Johnson

Me my money back. Two calls and over an hour Eventually got most of my money back but still have to call back again to get the insurance back. Guessing HoJo got a better offer for the room(s) as there were others affected. Super inconvenient. In town for an event ended up staying an hour away and missed some of the event.

This place is terrible. Unfortunately, it was the only place available in the area. The only positive was that the beds were comfortable. It was dirty, run down, and the staff was unfriendly. To add to the misery, we paid for our stay in full prior to arrival. Then the hotel added a security deposit charge of $75 and charged us for $115 for the night, I messaged the hotel through the Expedia app, no response. When you call them, they don't answer the phone (or it doesn't work). Expedia should not list this hotel as an option. It is embarrassing that they would advertise such a trashy, immoral operation.

The property was nice The room I had want fully clean, the bathroom had some blood on the door and a weird whitish brown stuff on the door, the pillows were also stained, and there was a sticky clear substance spots on the ceiling

Everything else was fine.

We had a confirmation for two rooms and they only gave us one. Despite the email in our hands showing the two rooms, the manager never apologized or offered anything other than putting us 4 adults in the one room they had. It was extremely frustrating

The property was ok, however. Even though they confirmed our reservation they said they aren’t affiliated with booking. Com so we were stranded without a room for the night. We had to drive to Fond Du Lac to find a room. Very stressful because everything in Appleton was already booked They didn’t have our reservation and they had no rooms available

it is now been the third week after my stay,and the deposit was NEVER returned to my card. I will never stay here AGAIN !!!

Upon arriving at the room, I noticed visible stains on the sheets and hairs on the pillow. I was also concerned that the smoke or carbon monoxide detector appeared to be disconnected. The bathroom vent was extremely loud as well. The overall condition of the property did not leave a good impression. The parking lot was in poor condition, the check-in area smelled strongly of smoke and cigarettes, and the breakfast area did not appear very clean. The breakfast selection itself was also quite limited. Shortly after checking in and heading to my room, I heard loud banging and yelling in the hallway, which added to my discomfort and made me feel uneasy for the remainder of my stay. I spent as little time in the room as possible and checked out early the following morning. The only reason I stayed the night was because I had already paid for the room; otherwise, I would have requested a refund and left. After later reading reviews of the property, I became even more concerned about staying there. I hope management takes steps to improve the cleanliness, safety, and overall atmosphere of the hotel so future guests can have a more comfortable and secure experience.

The room was ‘double booked’ allegedly. The room and entire property was dirty. Smelled like cigarettes and weed. There were clumps of hair on the bathroom floor. There was what looked like blood stains on the curtains and black mold on the ceiling. Thankfully we were only staying for one night and leaving right away in the morning, so we just dealt with it for the short time we were there.

Staff was very nice, room clean and quiet.
