Comfort Inn & Suites Arlington Heights - Schaumburg

The staff was not helpful at all. Our reservation was confirmed, but they gave our room away. Nothing was helpful, it was 2:00 in the morning and we had been traveling all day…. We had no place to go and spent the next 2’30” trying to find a room.

A pit.

Breakfast is awful. I recommend coffee was cold and no stuff where by the breakfast area.

The not so good was what I have read in reviews--it looks like they redid part of the bathroom(vanity and mirror) but the tub/shower was poor. It looks like they patched a couple spots in the acrylic wall panel and the tub itself appeared very old and not in good shape. The breakfast was just average as the eggs were liquid egg or powdered and the sausage was either turkey or some combo that I didn't believe tasted so good. They did however have bagels, waffles, cereal, etc. The orange juice was very good and they had plenty of coffee.

Staff were helpful. Rooms were clean, but bathroom/shower could use an upgrade. At the very least the shower needs to have grout redone.

Nice solid hotel. My only recommendation would be is to expand the options for breakfast and maybe move toward walk in showers as previous reviews left on the tubs.

Still to me a two star hotel not three. Decent but not for $150 a night lit is the suburbs of a Chicago

Room looked clean when I walked in, but there was a rancid smell in the bathroom and it permeated all throughout. I brought this concern up when I checked in. I was told there was nothing they could do and was forced to sleep in the room. For those wondering, stay out of room 123!!! The blinds would not lower as well, so besides not being able to sleep from the smell as soon as I got some shut eye, the sun woke me right up. To top it all off I lost an hour and a half the morning of check out because of being locked out of my room, the key fob malfunctioned. I feel robbed, I feel like I wasted my money. Beware do not stay here.

The room had dirty walls and carpet. The bathtub was stingy with peeling paint.

Please maintain the room. At least provide a body wash.

This was perfect place to stay for three days to visit family. The room was quiet, clean and the bed was comfortable. The room needed updating especially the bathroom. Morning breakfast was good. No place to hang your towels.

Room was dirty. Dirty bathroom. Dirty curtains. No blackout curtains. Broken noisy ac unit that won’t let you sleep at night. Breakfast has very limited options and is not good. For the price you can do better.

I asked staff to fix the bathroom lock caps and latch because there was no screw on the lock caps and only 1 screw on the door latch. I stayed there for 4 days and it didn’t get fix at all. The receptionist not seems to care about Customer requests. Other than that the hotel was great.

Everything was great until we walked into the bathroom. The tub looked like it was going to fall through the floor. It was brown and cracked and very worn. Good thing we were only spending the night and didn’t really need to shower.

Due to weather delays, our connecting flight at O'Hare was missed and we stayed here for the night before our next flight could leave in the morning. It is convenient to the airport, quiet, clean, and a good place to be when the unexpected happens!

The room was not clean when I got into it. The bathtub and shower had mold and hair all over it. When I talked to the front desk person it took them until the next day to address it after a second discussion

This hotel needs its bathrooms completely overhauled, and the gym needs free weights. Our bathroom was so gross that we moved rooms, and when we went down to talk to the hotel attendant, they agreed that the hotel bathrooms were terrible. The room that we moved to also had a terrible bathroom, but we were able to deal with it for one night. On a positive note, the hotel desk attendants were incredibly gracious and the lobby smelled delightful. Parking was plentiful as well. This Comfort Inn needs to overhaul the bathrooms immediately, and that would increase its star rating.
