Clarion Pointe Biltmore Village

Just sad that the pool was not open, when it’s a hot day in July and you book a hotel with a pool expecting a nice relaxing cool down it’s disappointing to find out that the pool is closed.

Only used breakfast option 1x during my 4 night stay. Should have made a waffle - they looked amazing. Opted for some eggs and sausage patty. Not bad! Room was clean, and comfortable. Fridge was great for the occasional leftover and cold bubbly waters.

Breakfast was nice and always plenty for everyone. The reason for the 4 stars is because the water for the shower would not turn off. It would be fixed one day and then continue to run (continuous drip) after the next shower.

The staff at the desk were nice, but no one had the password for the computer provided for guest use, and when we were eventually given it, it didn't work.

Awkward location, but a very comfortable stay

To start off with I booked this hotel weeks ago for my daughter and husband who were traveling for a softball tournament. We have stayed here before with no issues. Well when the trip got closer I realized the room was in my name and not my husbands name and I wasn’t attending the trip. I went online and tried to change it to my husbands name and it cancelled my reservation. I get an email that I’m being charged full price for the room. (A week before the trip) I immediately called and was told there was nothing they were willing to do. I called the next day and the lady was willing to reinstate my reservation. Great. Then she tells me I can’t use my Mastercard to reserve the room. I then have to borrow money from a friend to reserve the room with a different card. Then I’m told that only a bank card would be accepted for the security deposit. That wasn’t the card I needed to pay with. It was just one inconvenience on top of another. We were forced to stay there or either pay full price anyway when we found much cheaper rooms online. We will not be staying here again.

i was charged a walk-up rate because i needed to make an adjustment to my nightly stay. okay, i get it.... if i adjust my booking, the rates go up. But $94 for a midweek rate is NOT worth this property. Also, Very noisy front street will keep you up. Rooms are not sound proofed. Finally, a Very wierd parking lot entry/exit through the restaurant next door ( i guess they don't have their own driveway)Friday nights makes for a congested and unsafe driveway experience.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, quiet stay.

First of all the receptionists were very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were clean and smelled good including the linens and the bathroom. Breakfast was the usual but they were prepared well. The AC was functioning normally, no issues whatsoever overnight.

Book again.

Only one van handicapped parking spot. Usually taken by a non ramp/van occupants.

Excellent staff made us feel very comfortable and taken care of...very convenient to Biltmore village and downtown.

Good place to stay. Not in a busy part of Asheville which was what we were hoping for.

Breakfast wasn't anything fancy. No bread or toaster. Air conditioning was great.

The front desk folks were really friendly. We got a room in the back and there was no road noise.

I really liked the simplicity of the check in and check out. It's more like an old-fashioned "motor inn" where you pull up directly to your door. The breakfast was very good, the rooms were modern and clean, and the staff was friendly. We have stayed here twice while visiting the Biltmore, and plan to stay again. The swimming pool was closed for repairs, but that couldn't be helped.

Note that there is no streaming TV available, nor the ability to change inputs for a streaming stick. You are stuck watching their selection. Their workspace is a computer without a chair in the lobby. The location is very convenient to Biltmore and downtown and is set up more for tourists than business travel. There are a few restaurants within walking distance plus a fridge with microwave in the room (and snacks plus wine available to purchase in the lobby). The parking lot pull around from the back can not accommodate any trailers, u-hauls, etc due to a very tight turn radius in two places. Felt comfortable leaving the car in the parking lot and walking around the very well-lit immediate area.
