The Beaucatcher – A Boutique Motel

We stayed at this hotel to celebrate a family member’s 50th birthday and reserved nine rooms for the weekend. Prior to our arrival, we requested use of the breakfast area and outdoor patio for a gathering of 35 people. The hotel was exceptionally accommodating, allowing us access throughout our stay. Despite the size of our group, the staff ensured all our needs were met. Given the reasonable pricing, convenient location, and outstanding service, I highly recommend this hotel.

Good location Had no water for half a day, beds were super hard, not very clean, only one person on staff that we met was friendly.

Good location, courtyard I wouldn't call this a 'boutique motel'..old furniture, looks like a upgrade of what it used to be. No real 'ammenities'. Needs a pool or hottub or workout center. Most of what's there is a leftover of the 80s.

Location The room wasnt ready at check in time! I had to keep going to the office to the key reprogramed,the concrete on the main steps was all broken up,the tv didnt work they had to bring 3 different tvs before one finally worked and they wouldn’t accommodate my simple request!! Will never stay there again!

The location was the only good thing about this place. Room wasn’t cleaned, zero housekeeping during my stay, balcony door didn’t lock, staff didn’t tell me about breakfast, dirty sheets. I only stayed here as I was across the street from a store and got my own Clorox and clean sheets. Everything but the location.

This motel is very affordable and conveniently located near the city center, making it a practical choice for a short stay. However, I must mention that the breakfast service is not available before 8 am, which could be a bit inconvenient for some guests.

Location

Met the manager during check in. Nice guy, even made a fresh pot of coffee for me. Very courteous and helpful. Only issue was housekeeping just walked in with no knock as I was walking from the shower. Next time I’ll keep my towel on I guess.

The location is central to a lot of things to do in Asheville. Close to downtown, lots of food options in the area I feel like the room could have been cleaner. Some of the ceiling in our room was peeling from water damage and left some residue on the floor. Conditioner dispenser in the shower was clogged and difficult to use

Decent room at a great location. Flatsreen TV and shower were a delight. Very close parking to the room and a pleasant courtyard. One of the chairs was a little dirty, and there was a large sharp carpet staple on the floor. I know they are remodelling rooms, but that could have been a much less pleasant stay.

Check in was easy. This is an older hotel so I was anticipating some seediness, however, my room was sparkling clean and free of odor. The floors are laminated vs carpet and in my opinion are far superior to cruddy carpet found in every hotel everywhere. Everything worked fine, the bed was comfortable - it’s not a resort but if you’re just wanting a place to sleep it’s perfect. I suppose an extra lock on the door and breakfast would be nice but it’s really not a deal breaker.

Location Minimal support. 8 am breakfast missed one day and available at 8:15 the next. Fixing in progress.

Did not eat so I have no idea about that Mold stains on the shower curtain
