We had a stay from Wednesday until Saturday. We check in Wednesday go to our room and the carpet was so disgusting and dirty it made the room smell so bad ! Nothing was cleaned correctly you can see finger prints in the microwave and all it was disgusting. Then Thursday morning comes and we get a note under our door saying they can’t not extend our stay until Saturday and that we had to leave the next day because they were doing remodel the rooms! Mind you we paid for valet parking didn’t get that money back or transfer to the “new place” they booked us at. The fact they even were letting people still book knowing they were closing was absolutely ridiculous!!! They moved our reservation to another hotel were they said everything was going to transfer over and we didn’t have to pay anything else well that was not the case. We had repay valet parking and a whole new deposit. A lady before me that was in the same hotel couldn’t even get a room they said she had to repay her stay which is insane! Honestly this was the worst experience ever they need to put this business out

My stay here is already subject to a complaint, as follows: Dear Sirs, Thank you for your email of the 10th July 2026. Please accept my apologies for the late reply only I returned from the USA with a very bad chest infection and have been laid up for two weeks. With regards to my stay at The Peachtree Hotel, Midtown, Atlanta, the stay was very disappointing for the following reasons: The bathroom sink was blocked and drained water away very, very slowly, rendering the sink, practically unusable, The bathroom light didn’t work (I eventually effected a temporary repair), The balcony metal window frame was alert in a very dangerous state of repair with screws and bent metal sticking out likely to cause serious injury if it came into contact with human skin & The room could have been cleaner, as evinced by the picture of the windows. I reported these defects to the reception, not once, not twice, but three times, but to no effect. Absolutely nothing was done about it. On checking out, I spoke to the Front Desk Supervisor, Michelle, who wrote her name on the back of a You’ve Been Upgraded (which I wasn’t!) Marriott Bonvoy card and she agreed to a full refund. Attached, below, are images of the problems encountered and the card which FD Supervisor, Michelle, handed to me. I look forward to receiving a full refund, plus compensation for the inconveniences caused in due course. Kind regards, Garford Beck. Tel: 07944-828527. Most probably the uncaring, couldn’t give a you-know-what attitude of the staff to my bringing to their attention the problems in my room, not once, but three times and they did nothing about it. Would also like to add more images to demonstrate just how unsatisfactory my room was.

This was a terrible experience. The sinks and tubs don't drain. The rooms have odd stains. The 10/10 reviews have got to be fraudulent. I do not recommend.

I booked through Expedia I am more than aware that they said it was non refundable but I called more then a week in advance just to ASK if I can refund which was granted. Said canceled no penalty. My fault because I should have gotten a name. When I called back days later I was told that it would not be refunded. Highly upset as I would have just stayed there if I was not getting refunded.
