Two issues with Musta they’re literally was a homeless man that have been living in the stairwell of the hotel. I don’t know how long but it was quite some time because we found a urine bucket and clothes. I went downstairs to the bar to go get a drink and my husband left the door simply unlocked so that way I could have easy access when I came in when I got back up to the room the homeless man was actually in our room. He didn’t steal anything, but the problem with the hotel is that they do not have security cameras in the stairwell or the hallway to protect their guest in Downtown. Secondly I had to catch a 5 am flight so I checked out early around two in the morning. There was a young lady who was at the front desk and she was on her personal cell phone with the fellas language cursing non-stop because she had our phone on the desk and her head down she never even noticed that I was there waiting to check out. I got so offended not only by her massive unprofessional behaviour but I am so disappointed that such a beautiful hotel would hire such poor staff.

Location and great customer service
-
Great location. Across the street from the Fox theater. Clean big room. Will stay again. Highly recommend.

The room was clean and spacious, but my 1 complaint would be the kitchen's lack of silverware, and cups. I was able to manage with plasticware from the restaurant we ordered from but felt limited in ability to serve the family dinner.

There was no hot water in the morning for showering. My husband let it run for 30 minutes before I got in and it NEVER got warm. I was having surgery close by that morning and needed a shower before my arrival at the hospital. So, I had to take a cold shower. There was no mini fridge as advertised and no ice bucket either. The ice machine on our floor was also inoperable. I complained at the front desk in the morning and clerk offered me a $50 discount. I was shocked!!! That would not do. So, she did upgrade us to a suite for that night. The suite was nice BUT there are no towel bars for 2 people. There was a full kitchen, however, no utensils, and only ONE pan. The appliances were clean but sorely outdated. The valet service was perfect and the Livingston Restaurant was delicious. Good job on those 2 fronts.

Terrible stay at this hotel. I will never stay here again.

Staff is unfriendly. There's no coffee maker in the rooms or minibar. Nobody pick ups the phone when you call the front desk. There's no comforter in the bed, just sheets. There charge you an additional fee for historical restoration at check out. There's also noises coming from the walls probably rodents or perhaps all pipes screeching.

Incredible staff. Historic hotel so it’s not modern. But great stay and conveniently located.

Upon arrival to your room you will assume you have service. For example, if staying multiple night a use the in-room coffee, you will not get coffee the next day. There’s also a standard “clean please” door hanger. (it didn’t work) and third a reminder and QR code to tip your housekeeper. All of this says “housekeeping is included” Upon late night arrival back to my room for my 2nd night I discover the room was not made up. I text the miss, via the service text. Going got the front desk for some coffee packs failed at 11pm they only had decaf. I found out that I had to request service. I request it for the next day. 9 am next day,,. housekeeping arrives - friendly, speedy, polite. Very professional, I ask in Spanish if she has Cafe Normal (not decaf) Sorry no…. I send another service text - I have coffee for day 3

This is our third try. I use to love this hotel. Was my go to for years. Our last three visits have gotten worse each time. Our visit before last we were forced to stay in a room that flooded each time you took a shower. When maintenance showed up during our three day stay he blamed it on old plumbing and the front desk claimed it was the only room in the hotel. Wet rugs and floors for three days. This stay it was just for a night for an event at the Fox. The first room we were given the AC was set for 68 degrees yet the room was at 75. We were moved to another room and more of the same. Unless you ran the unit continuously it would not click into auto mode. So we froze. When approaching the front desk the woman was distracted and seemed to be bothered at check in and during our change of rooms. She brushed off questions and was truly dismissive. We did attempt to call the desk in the first room only to have someone answer and slam the phone down multiple times; which prompted us to have to go downstairs to resolve. Further you’ve done nothing to improve the rooms in a decade. Dinged furniture; ancient amenities; not even a fridge in the suite room. Sad for the price; including $50 for parking for a night. Truly not worth the hassle. We more than likely will never return. Remember it’s the quiet ones that say nothing but don’t return due to your horrible attitude.

My family had a wonderful stay during a short weekend trip. The room was clean, comfortable, and the staff was very helpful. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Location, staff, valet and views. My room had wet floors due to AC overflow. Random beeping noise at 2am and could not get help until around 4:30 which was due to facility negligence. It was my wedding weekend, had I known this was the stay I would have been elsewhere.
