The Hotel Palms Poolside

Great place to stay. Our room was clean. There was plenty of lighting when we came later in the evening to our room. It made it safer.

Nice and Coozy, good for a lil retreat

Left for airport prior to breakfast, so can't speak on it, but the room was very nice! The proximity to Atlantic Beach neighborhood is ideal, as well as close to Mayport base and JAX isn't that far. Felt a bit nervous about leaving the room key in the wooden box that doesn't lock.

Place was great in everything except the pool was drained while I was there :(

Very clean and bedding was nice. I think I should have been told pool was closed for repairs prior to arrival. The staff did offer passes to a nearby pool. As it turns out, i would not have used anyway. I think from an integrity perspective, customers should be told. My biggest issue was with a room change due to lack of hot water. I understand these things happen and I was given a supposedly better room. The problem was that the "king" room I was given was not remotely as good as the one I left. No dresser/drawers, no bathroom counter, really no flat surfaces to put stuff on, no trash can at desk (just tiny one in bathroom), dimly lit bathroom. It was really not a comfortable room to me. The prior room was very well equipped. I would suggest manager / owner spend a few days in their rooms.

Room was clean. Remote control wouldn’t work so couldn’t watch tv.

Quaintness, location, proximity to restaurants, night life and beach, coffee shop on site (delicious!), price for value!! Not much room for luggage/hanging garments, but we managed!!

Parking space directly in front of the window. Ice machine, perfekt for a cool drink. Pool landscape a very clean. The room had unfortunately seen better days. They had the bare necessities, but that was about it :) It wasn't as charming as it looked in the pictures. However, I saw two rooms further on that were definitely nicer. My remote control was very sticky

Disappointed that there was no breakfast.

Nice small pool and a coffee shop on the property

Small and minimalistic but clean room. Overpriced for what you get but it is located in walking distance to the beach.

Literally loved this local spot! Stayed poolside- can’t beat it! The staff, coffee shop, and proximity to downtown and the beaches is top notch.

Very clean and quiet, even with the festival in AB. Felt very safe. Loved the pool area!

Perfect location. Great coffee shop on the property. The pool area was very clean. The A/C in the room worked great. We will be back!

The hotel was fantastic. A really cool place with separate chalet-type rooms. No high rise with endless corridors. Our room was perfect for a week’s stay. We had a fridge, Nespresso machine and microwave. The staff could not have been more helpful or friendly. Always there offering to provide anything we needed. The pool area is great. A perfect little oasis of calm outside the room door. The location of the hotel is brilliant, minutes away from a great selection of cafes, bars and restaurants.

Clean very big rooms and great staff.

Bed is a little hard or else i would rate this hotel as excellent.

Beach access was amazing and the bed was quite comfortable Older looking place and not close to food areas if you don’t have a car.

Great place, great price, great location, easy parking, nice staff!
