The main thing i loved was not having to leave the hotel it has everything downstairs Elevators were alittle slow in the Solana tower

My sheets not changed,mildrew in bathroon shower and someone else cloths in my room,when i checked in.electic plug are a danger Room expection,

DO NOT BOOK THROUGH EXPEDIA!!!! The non refundable room I paid for was not available when I arrived at the hotel and the hotel said it was because Expedia preselects rooms. I was told I'd need to pay more for a comparable room. When I made Expedia aware and requested a partial refund- they said its not their problem. So both Expedia and the Tropicana cannot be trusted. DONT DO IT!!

I have been staying at Tropicana for many years now. The customer service is great because the staff is very helpful. There are a lot of food choices and restaurants to pick from. I love the location, and the fact that the greyhound bus pulls right underneath into the parking garage. This makes it very convenient and you don’t have to worry about walking outside in the elements with your luggage to get to the hotel lobby. Also, it is easy to get around from this location because the jitney pools right out front and the local bus also pulls out front.

Last minute ANNIVERSARY getaway NEVER AGAIN now I understand the norèaster damaged the beach but we weren't going for outdoors anyway. Checked in Wed evening after 8pm went Hooters for a quick bite could not believe it looks like a raunchy hole in the wall strip joint from the 80"s. Casino wasn't what you would expect there for about 1.5 hours no service couldn't get a drink so we left there went to find a lounge for cocktails were told NO BARS OR LOUNGES until weekend. Next morning no i mean NO BREAKFAST SPOTS n̈o room service until weekend wife had to drive around corner to get food. Only part of this trip was Carmines Italian restaurant extremely cold in there but food and service was GREAT. Can't believe this experience will definitely NEVER VISIT AC AGAIN

We stayed at the Solana tower. The room was very nice, new and spotless. The view was of a multi level parking lot… lol. So if your looking g for ocean view this isn’t the tower you want . Checking in was seamless. I do wish they told us which pool was open. There are 3 pools in the property. I also wish there was better maps around hotel to know where you’re going . The property is HUGE, which is nice so you’ll never get bored . We ate at the Palm which was delicious!!! We saw a comedy show upstairs, which was so much fun! Plenty of restaurants for any budget which was nice to see! The themed hotel is so amazing to walk around. If I had to suggest anything is the north tower pool could use a little help. It was a bit underwhelming . They have a huge balcony overlooking the beach, we weren’t allowed to bring chairs outside , it would be nice to see it a bit themed out like the rest of the hotel. No music throughout. Other than that, the lodge chairs were comfortable, plenty of towels. I would absolutely go back. I would try a different tower next time. We literally had our car valeted and didn’t have to go back for it till we left it was nice ! Also I have to say all the valet gentleman that we delt with were so nice !!!! Very attentive to our stuff and handled our things gently (especially my CPAP).

Yes , all meal was served All the food was fantastic, especially the breakfast at the Tractor restaurant; the service was excellent. My wife doesn’t like, that they closed the pool too early.

The location The smell in the hallways and rooms It was egregiously expensive for what it was It’s old and needs updating The room smelt like smoke
