Tropicana Atlantic City – A Caesars Rewards Destination

It was clean, very friendly and a great staff

Everything was going great until my kids and I went to take a shower after the pool and the beach, the water was ground almost black. And there was no one available at the front desk, to help and went I say the maintenance lady she said that the was normal that it happens sometimes to go to the front desk, maybe they’ll give me another stay. In the mean time I could not brush out teeth or take a shower. It was horrible experience and when I went to check out I was promise to get a full refund, and guess what it never happened.

I have a Platinum card and was supposed to get free parking. I was charged in the garage when I went out the first night. The parking attendant in the garage booth said it was a one time charge for the several days I would be there. That was not true. When I left on the fifth day, the other attendant agreed it was an erroneous charge but that I would not get a refund. I called the billing dept for Caesars and was told that because I paid cash I would not get a refund , even though I have the receipt. It is not a lot of money, but if that is the way Caesars does business, I will take mine elsewhere.

It was a great place to stay and play.

Hit a bit of a snag on arrival with the check-in machines, which did not work properly, but aside from that everything was great.

Also the lower level staircase that led to the street exit on Atlantic Avenue in parking lot garage REEKED OF A TERRIBLE URINE ODOR and it was obvious that the staircase was not cleaned in weeks possibly months if not over a year!!!

The WiFi was horrible, we couldn’t even connect 2 devices at the same time. The bathroom was old, there wasn't hand soap, the pictures online showed a bathtub, but there was only a shower. I will never stay here again. Also, unless you park at valet, you will have to walk 30 minutes to check in.

The room that we stayed in wasn’t as advertised in the booking. It was still nice though. Also the bed was very firm.

Some floors of the hotel were terrible and filthy. The carpet on the 6th floor was filthy and dirty. The pillows were cheap and very uncomfortable. For the money people spend to stay, guest deserves better.

Big casino, lots of restaurants and bars/ lounge, clean rooms. Would go back. Best hotel in Atlantic City

The room and casino was nice however getting to and from our room was a nightmare, half the elevators do not work and depending on the time there are massive lines to get on. Staff could be a bit more helpful, they will not clean your room unless you call and request it ahead of time and getting in contact with reception was a process as well

The room was nice when i arrived. Although there was a little bit of a musty smell so i had to keep the ac going in order to eliminate the smell
