Clean

Everything about our stay was great and problem free. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. They had a good selection at breakfast and plenty of room for seating. We had never been to Maine so this was our first introduction and they represented well. I would gladly stay there again and would refer others as well!

We enjoyed our stay here. Alyssa at the front desk was really welcoming and helpful upon our arrival. Our room was clean and had everything we needed including a coffee maker, a large (dorm-sized) fridge with a REALLY good freezer, and a few toiletries. There was even a microwave in our room, although we did not need it. The beds were comfortable with tons of pillows. We were able to adjust the heat/cooling in the room and the curtain definitely blocked the light well. One thing I didn't notice when making the booking was that the hotel rooms are on outside hallways. We were two women traveling alone, but this was not a problem at all. We felt comfortable on the second floor. I am only mentioning it because I hadn't notice when I booked the room and wanted others to know it ahead of time. We had a nice dinner in the restaurant and there was live music, which was really fun. The bartender--I'm sorry I can't remember her name-- was very personable and excellent. For breakfast, we enjoyed the amazing spread downstairs. There was something for everyone. Speaking of that, there was a huge variety of people enjoying the hotel-- older folks, families with kids and families with teens. That speaks to how warm, welcoming and comfortable it was. Finally, the hotel was very easy to find, and there was ample parking.

Everything was great the staff, food and location.

The Place is Beautiful, down to every little detail. Thomas, I think that was his name, at the front desk was so kind and helpful. Dinner, at the restaurant, was amazing. We missed the breakfast buffet because we were packing and I wanted to take a swim in the pool. It was beautiful and refreshing. They say it’s heated but it felt very cold. They provide everything you need. There is art everywhere. I just can’t say enough great things about this place. More Beautiful than they even present it to be online. I will definitely stay again. Thank you so much.

We arrived at the Maine Evergreen Hotel around 1:30 PM but were allowed to check in to our room a bit early. The room was spacious, as described but as I attempted to adjust the air conditioning, it became quite loud. I noticed a large crack on the top of the casing and called the front desk for assistance. A maintenance man promptly arrived and replaced the casing, which corrected the noise. We enjoyed a wonderful buffet breakfast with a large selection of coffee flavors. What impressed me the most were the multiple artistic creation which adorned the walls and tabletops. All types of mediums in an array of colors and shapes greeted you around every corner. Being a stained glass artist myself, I value and highly appreciated the beauty of it all. Surprisingly, most pieces were for sale. To summerize, it was a most enjoyable hotel.
