Senator Inn & Spa

Location was great, anything you need is within 10 minutes and it was very close to the UMA-AUGUSTA which is why we traveled up. Facility was clean, pool and hot tub were open as well as a gym that we did not get to check out. Had no issues, will use this establishment again if we travel up again. Only hiccup we had was a clogged shower drain that we notified staff about a checkout and they were going to fix it. Great place!

Restaurant in hotel was ridiculous! Prices where way over for the amount of food received.

The room was large with an amazing comfortable bed, beautiful shower and plenty of space for your belongings with a breakfast bar and fridge. The spa area with the pool was a bit far for our hip problems. Jess at the front desk was very friendly and gave us some tips for exploring the area from the Capital down Western Ave to the lakes and ponds in Winthrop.

The bed was comfortable and clean. Dinner was lackluster. The room itself was dirty from the baseboards up. The furniture was worn, appeared dirty, unappealing. The room appeared to be a storage room for items they removed from other rooms. The internal hallway was decorated approximately two-thirds of the length. My room was at the end of that hallway. Perhaps they were in the middle of renovating? If that was the case the room should not have been available.

Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Facility and room were clean. Food at restaurant was good at both b reakfast and dinner. The "economy" queen room we were in hadn't been updated. Bath was tired/in need of renovation, with impossible to decipher shower operation. Room was small, bed overly firm, and lacked a bedside table of any sort on one side. We were located on the second floor, and the only elevator was out of service. So I had to walk up and down stairs repeatedly with a bad knee. $200 is not economy nor value for the quality of room. Restaurant was understaffed, with one server and a manager trying to take care of everything. Main dining area is very loud thanks to enthusiastic guests in the bar area.

The staff were amazing and friendly they answered all our questions and treated us kindly, the spa was to die for it was clean and well maintained we didn’t eat breakfast there but we are booking again so we’ll give that a try next time and the cleanliness of the entire property was impressive there wasn’t an inch of that building that wasn’t clean. Also best coffee I’ve had in a WHILE 😃

Stayed in a suite and loved it. Huge rooms. Three TV's. Extra vanity. TV/workroom. Liked this place.

Staff was rude and very abrupt, rooms were disgusting. We had a red stain on the wall and something incrusted to the bathroom wall. Rooms smelt musty.

Central location. Friendly staff and the rooms are large and clean. Definitely would recommend!

I found the room nice, but the on-site restaurant wasn't that great and charged for breakfast, even though it didn't open until 8 am.
