Super 8 by Wyndham Augusta

The room was nice with some modern touches. Very clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly even during our late check in after midnight. And the trainee at the time did very well. It is an older property but has been managed very well. The continental breakfast was the weakest link during our visit. Not much of anything on offer. We decided not to eat there. Otherwise, for a reasonable nights stay, check it out.

Staff were very welcoming and helpful with restaurant suggestions. Very personable.

This place was absolutely filthy. I drove all day long, arrived at about 11:30pmso exhausted I wanted nothing more then to take a nice, hot shower and lay down. I opened the door to my room and was overwhelmed by the stench of mildew. It was sickening. I ran to the window and opened it, trying to air it out. As I moved away from the bathroom, the mold smell was replaced with cigarette stench. I went back toward the bathroom to prepare for a shower and that's when I realized the sickening stench was coming off of the shower curtain. It was so pungent and disgusting, my dream of a shower went up in smoke. I began to notice the carpet next. Huge red stains, like puddles of juice (I hope) or something worse all over the floor beside the bed. All around the garbage can the rug was crusted with stains. People throwing stuff toward the can and missing it? I don't know. FOUL!!! I pulled the coverlet back on the bed and noticed big white splatters.... ALL OVER THE PLACE. I began to feel physically ill at this point. I threw it on the filthy hair/dust ball covered chair. The fridge stunk and had pink mildew stains and food smears. Someone else's packet of pepper in the filthy food spattered microwave. Dust so thick all over the shelves, I wrote in it. I was itchy, my skin was crawling, I was paranoid about bed bugs and mites and lice. I was so upset. I spent $120 on a literal pig stye. I took photos of all of this, I'm planning to contact corporate with the pics. I'm FURIOUS 😠

En general la estancia estuvo muy bien. La habitación limpia y amplia. Lo único fue el desayuno, el cual fue muy básico. Apenas había lo indispensable. Se supone que pague más por el desayuno incluido pero fue una decepción.

Room 105 was super noisy. Room was clean.

room was comfortable but wish there had been a coffee maker and a clock radio. there were neither.

Breakfast Could improve: juice was like water Room had a very strong mildew odor, especially in the bathroom. Carpets were very dirty.

Breakfast options were disappointing - there was only cereal.

The Super 8 in Augusta was clean, quiet and comfortable. Nothing fancy just a good nights sleep.

Great staff and place. Was busy when we checked in (I thought was late) staff was kind to help us with wifi that didn’t seem to work in our room. We changed rooms (with no issue) and all was well! Great restful and comfortable stay!

The best part about the stay was the service. You could tell the owners cared about cleanliness and order. Everything was in great shape and nothing was broken or in need of repair. This far exceeded every other Super 8 I've ever stayed in. Kudos to the owners.

The front desk lady was nice. That's the only positive impression I have of this hotel chain. I don't imagine I'd stay at a Super 8 again. For $184 a night, I would have expected a lot more. The room smelled musty. The bathtub had no plug. The breakfast was meager, and that's being polite: kid's cereal, warm yogurt, overripe bananas, coffee, and juice. Again, for $187 a night. I've stayed in hotels in the US and hostels in Europe for under $100 and had a more complete breakfast. For that price, I'd have expected an actual breakfast and some extra amenities, such as a pool or a hot tub, maybe a sauna. Not here. Honestly, the price is exploitative.

I didn't do breakfast. The location was great. It actually was as nice if not nicer than!The more high end inns in the area. I will us them when I come into the city from now on

Helpful staff and good room. They offered to change our room to 1st floor so we didn’t have to carry our suitcases upstairs.

The coffee was very good…the mattress was excellent…the desk clerk was very nice n helpful There was no info in room on delivery of any food or things to see n do in town
