Hyatt Centric Congress Ave Austin

The first room was really bad, so we had to upgrade at twice the price. It's in downtown and doesn't feel safe at all. You arrive on a busy one-way street, and the valet whisks your car away. The check-in is like a large closet, with no more than 4 people who could fit at a time. It's what I would call a small two-person desk. The restaurant is never open and closes at 8 PM, bummed, as we just flew in and needed a nice place to stay. The ceilings are painted a rustic-type concrete. There is a refrigerator with snacks, but that's all. 2 stars.

Overall, I had a good stay. I requested a corner room and was given one on the 14th floor with a really nice view, which I appreciated. The room was comfortable, clean, and the bed was especially soft and comfortable. Most of the staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. The location was also convenient for getting around downtown Austin. Overall, it was a comfortable stay and I enjoyed my time here.

This is my second year staying in this hotel on my yearly trip to Austin. The property is clean and well-kept, and the staff is warm, friendly, and helpful. I look forward to staying here again next year.

The property was clean and modern. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. We were allowed to check in early which was great!

I love Hyatt Centric. They accept dogs which was a extremely important to me. I initially rented and Vrbo property, which A/C would not go cool down. they whole time was at 80. Outside was 102 degrees! I left that awful property and I will never again rent through those companies. Luckily I found Hyatt Centric which accepts dogs. My daughter, the pups and myself left that awful property and went to Hyatt Centric. They only bad thing is that it doesn't have parking. I have to pay extra in a parking garage near by. Other than that, Hyatt Centric is amazing. It also offers mesmerizing views of the Capitol and downtown Austin. I will be back to this hotel with my fur babies. Thank you Hyatt Centric for saving us from that awful heat. The toilet clogged. They immediately sent a person to fix it. He handed me a tool to unclog it myself. I tried but I couldn't. Then I called service desk again and he had to come back to unclog it.
