Filthy. No water in the pool. Mold on the breakfast oranges. Terrible day old tasting coffee. The blow-dryer provided was melted and broken. I took it to the manager Terrence Evans and said it was a fire hazard and I brought it to him as a courtesy to keep the staff from returning it to its pouch in the room. He promptly informed me it's fixable and will be placed in another room. I thought he was either crazy or joking, but then he called over a custodian/groundskeeper guy and asked him to fix it. I said if the place burns down I'll point the fire department to him. He mocked me and laughed. The next day the fire Marshal was inspecting the property. I then pointed out a big hole in the lint screen of the dryer where the lint gets sucked through. I used the dryer 4 times, never pulled any lint from it. That place might be shut down to widen the I35 corridor in the near future, I suspect management is prepping to burn it down and collect on insurance. Supervisor Evans doesn't care. I tried to speak to his supervisor who happened to be onsite while the fire Marshal was there and another staff member literally prevented me from talking to him and refused to provide his name. AVOID THIS FILTHY, GOD FORSAKEN PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

Staff is awesome. Needs upgrades in rooms for sure. Clean, quiet, and feels safe; just needs upgrades and updates to the property.

Nothing The fact that I never checked in nor stayed there that night and they would not give me a refund.

Nice receptionist

The photos are not what they seem. We specifically requested a pool when searching. It was drained. The breakfast only offered a maximum of 4 items. The typical waffle maker , toast , cold boiled eggs & cereal. The microwave in that area was filthy dirty. Laundry services weren’t available. Room services did not clean our room even after requesting. We stayed 3 nights & they just gave us more towels. Being by the freeway made it accessible to a lot of activities. But I wouldn’t stay again. You pay for amenities that aren’t available.

Not at all Yes

I had a total on 5 rooms neither were cleaned during our 7 night stay. Just excuses after excuses.

The one bright spot was the wonderful employee who checked us in—a light-skinned Black woman with burgundy hair who works the night shift. She is always friendly, professional, and welcoming. She consistently provides excellent customer service and is one of the main reasons I’ve enjoyed staying here in the past. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience did not meet expectations. I stayed for two nights, and when I arrived, the room was not properly cleaned. The shower had dirt on the floor, a used bar of soap was left on the shelf, and the glass was dirty. The toilet handle was loose and nearly falling out, and there were still items left in the drawers from a previous guest. It honestly felt like only the bed had been made and the rest of the room had been overlooked. To make matters worse, the checkout experience was unpleasant. The two women working at the front desk were busy talking amongst themselves, and even after I waited patiently for them to finish, they acted as though it was an inconvenience for me to check out. Their attitude came across as rude and unprofessional. This property has provided great stays in the past, which is why this experience was so disappointing. I hope management addresses the cleanliness issues and customer service concerns, because there is definitely room for improvement.

Terrible experience, there was mold in the bathroom, room smells bad, pool doesn’t work and very poor service.

Nothing it was horrible Dirty and they had roaches
-
Run down property - certainly not up to La Quinta standards. NO breakfast whatsoever. Indifferent staff
-
Very poorly maintained. Unclean and unhygienic place to stay. Surprised to see La Quinta Inn maintained so badly. Unclean and unhygienic, dirty carpets, unclean breakfast area. Front desk staff careless response.

Misleading Gross
-
Should have known from the torn up hotel sign outside to stay away but the rusty waffle maker might just be a health hazard.

The thing that caused me to rate the stay as 3 stars instead of 4 or 5 is that after I ate a few things from what was left of the breakfast they gave out was that is saw a dead "pest" mixed in with the mini-muffins. I informed the staff doing clean up (because it was around 9:30 and they end breakfast at that time at that property) and their reaction was an unconcerned sounding, "wow." The sad thing is that I hadn't noticed the dead pest until I had already had a few pieces of toast. With me not taking a picture it's just my word, but hopefully no one gets sick from that or something else dealing with uncleanliness. That or more that might've seen something similar voice the issue with proof so that the property can work on addressing the issue.

I like that it’s in the middle of everything I had to go That I have not received my security deposit for a nearly a month now

Nothing Everything was bad experience, the hotel staff was rude and the room was very dirty smelled like urine. There were stains on the walls, curtains, floor and bed. It was poor condition and the hotel itself smelled very bad and moldy. I told the hotel staff and they told me the building is old, I ended up me and my family went to another hotel to stay because my daughter had graduation and the room was not appropriate for her to get dressed. I recommend no one stay here.

DEMAND A REFUND, WE DID NOT STAY THERE!!! The hotel was closed. Homeless people were roaming the lot and appeared to occupy the building. Broken down cars were in the lot and one was in front of the door. The A/C units werre missing in most of the rooms and plywood covered the hole.
