Hampton Inn Austin North @ I - 35 & Hwy 183

The elevators didnt work. They placed us on the fourth floor without informing us there was a problem and we couldn't get back down without taking the stairs. We had a lot luggage to carry, so it was terrible.

Great! Would stay here again

This hotel is our first pick when we visit Austin because it's affordable, clean, and fairly quiet. This stay was different: elevators continue to be out of service since last time in April. Also, no hand soap or body lotion was replenished even when we requested. And an incident with a potential overdose or worse crime took place as we prepared to go to bed on one if the nights. Nobidy was at the front desk answering the ohone when we tried to notify. The issue was compounded when EMTs were not able to use elevators. We hope our next stay goes better.

The front desk staff were very kind! I needed to stay in the lobby after checking out. The girl went above and beyond to help me: welcomed me to stay, provided me with wifi, and offered me water.

I wasn’t told about $50 required deposit till I arrived. The hotel was a little out dated. One elevator was broken and the other one sounded like it was gonna quit working while you was in it. I wish I would’ve stayed at a different hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful though.

Very close to get on and off the main freeway in Austin. Very clean, very friendly, very pet friendly, and fair cost!

Great to know they don’t charge for parking even they have an excellent place to easy enter and exit to the freeway.

I came with my husband and 2 children, it was a good stay, very clean. We were worried because the reviews were all saying they didn’t have breakfast, but fortunately they DO have free breakfast! And it was decent. The only that wasn’t great was the elevators. Just one out of the two elevators were working. The people on the fourth floor had to call down to the desk before they left the room so the front desk could send them the elevator. We were on the third floor so it wasn’t a problem other than before we left. When we were leaving we pressed the button to and the elevator didn’t come for a long time. It wasn’t moving and the button light wasn’t staying on… eventually after continuing to press it, just before we gave up, the light stayed on and we heard it coming! We did eventually get on that elevator and made it down to the first floor lol.

Price and location They never told us they would clean our room every other day so that was a surprise. This Hampton inn is a little bit past its prime but still was good value

The breakfast was good I did not like that I had to pay a 50.00 deposit for each night, since I stayed two nights, which was 100.00. Then I had to wait 3 to 5 business days to get my money back.

This hotel was great. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast looked delicious, we had plans for breakfast so didnt eat it but it looked great and coffee was good. Gym was good. Room was comfortable and nice.

Spacious, comfortable rooms. Cozy bed, great shower. Very good stay for the price. Elevators were slow, was a consistent issue. AC would automatically turn fan off and thermostat had to be adjusted at night to stay cool.
