We love all the extra amenities that are included. The welcome snack basket, nachos, wine and cheese hour. Pie and ice cream and the delicious chocolate croissants each morning.

We enjoyed our stay here. The location was perfect! The hotel served afternoon snacks, wine and cheese cocktail hour, pie and ice cream in the evening and danishes in the morning.

It was really clean Staff were really respectful. The breakfast was good. The pie was good and they have real good service and the cleaning staff also have real good service and they’re always asking you if you need anything and I’m really appreciated of everything they did for me thank you so much.

Exceptional location in Avila Beach with easy access to Alapay tasting room, Peloton tasting room and Avila Wine and Roasting tastings. The property itself is very hospitable with a common room set up to accommodate morning croissants and coffee, afternoon chips and salsa, a wine-centered happy hour in the late afternoon and pie and/or cookies at 8pm. It is much more geared towards older adults and we very much appreciated that maturity, quiet, and slower-paced energy.

The Avila La Fonda far exceeded our expectations!!! I rarely write reviews, but was compelled to write this one because I have been very disappointed in a number of our accommodations, even after reading numerous reviews before choosing a property. I was therefore a little skeptical about the Avila La Fonda. We were pleasantly surprised. The room was wonderful, the amenities outstanding, and the staff was very accommodating and efficient.

Everything was great from the staff to the breakfast, the hot tub was great and the view was amazing.

The town is slightly off the beaten track...resulting in a lovely little vacation spot...Avila La Fonda has everything from cookies to pies and ice cream for dessert in the lounge. I'm trying hard to think of something they don't provide....ah I've got it ...they don't clean the windshield on my car in the garage...not that any other hotel does.
