Inn at Avila Beach

Perfect stay this place will be closed untill 2028 so sad but hopefully when it reopens in the future it still will have its same SPARK

That needs updating,very noisy room from people upstairs celebrating a birthday until 1am and doing drugs

Our theme room was interesting!!!Loved it I thought I was Robinson Caruso!!😆 Great location and pie social and ice cream was fun !!

This was a very old hotel. I had booked two double beds and got a double and a single. There was no air conditioning so they put two floor fans in the room. The window blinds were old and broken and there were a lot of stairs to climb to get to everything. Although the coffee/breakfast area had a good view it was very old and rickety. What was good was the apple cobbler served at 7pm complimentary. This hotel was very over priced on the beach or not.

Room 312 was recently renovated and was great. Complimentary pies and ice cream were a nice treat! Staff (Alton) was friendly and very helpful. Great convenient location to Avila hot spots!

Coffee on the roof is perfection! Love all the little touches to welcome people. Unfortunately no vegan options for breakfast or snacks but the oat milk latte was delicious. Guests are extremely loud in the morning starting at 6am. There were people shouting from below to their rooms and also the tv kept turning on in the morning no matter how many times I turned it off.

Loved the location. An out-of-the-way peaceful village. The beach was perfect. The breakfast on the roof was wonderful, as was the evening pie/ice cream.

Overall this is a very "cool", convenient and "whimsical" inn to stay. Its right across the street from the beach and walking dustance to all the restaurants and shops on the boardwalk. The rooms have a "rustic" look with lots of wood and a fireplace. They provide a nice breakfast every morning, coffee throughout the day, and pie and ice cream in the evening. My only problem is that being slightly disabled with a walking issue, this inn is not made for people with a mobility handicap as there are no elevators, steep stairs, and lots of "rises" on the walk-ways which made it very difficult for me getting to and from my room (on the 2nd floor). I managed but it was slow going and tough. However, I still enjoyed my stay here and recommend it as long as you're aware of the lack of handicap accessibility.

Unable to stay due to flight delays.

Loved that it was right across the street to the beach. Had great amenities like beach chairs, beach towels, beach toys for kids, and also had bikes. Also had homemade pies every night also had ice cream and coffee 24/7 available. All staff was welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was great had coffee, pastries, and egg bacon casserole.

My room was kinda funky but adequate, except for no air conditioning (and it was hot). I didn’t realize ahead of time that there was no elevator and no guest rooms on the first floor. There was no one to help me up the stairs with my luggage. It was difficult to get someone at the front desk if you needed something. However, the sun rooftop area was lovely and the coffee, pastries, and egg casserole (complimentary) were fabulous, as were the people who worked there. Great location by the promenade.

Property is eclectic…. rooms a little dated but clean and comfortable. Ramps, stairs everywhere, which was not a problem for us, but could be for some. Pie and ice cream at night was appreciated! 2 night stay.
