Candlewood Suites Baltimore - Inner Harbor by IHG

Updated property. Very clean. Loved the layout of the suite. I especially loved the cabinets in the kitchenette. Staff very friendly and informative. Parking was walking distance to the hotel. You could also park overnight at a meter outside of the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a stay in Baltimore.

Clean friendly loved staff

Staff very helpful when we needed an extra hour for checkout. Even though the site stated no onsite parking I missed seeing that. So be aware. The staff was helpful when we called and asked them how we manage unloading and parking which was walking distance in a parking garage. Kitchen was useful and laundry was free. It is right downtown close to stadiums.

The hotel and our room were very clean up to date we felt comfortable. Will definitely boom again.

The room was spacious and easily held all four of us. The kitchen had everything we needed to make and eat food in the room. It was an easy 15 minute walk to the harbor and a quick ride to the ballpark as well. The staff checking us in were not as knowledgeable about the area as I’m used to in a hotel. The elevators were shaky.

No frills, but it was simple, clean enough, and what we needed for a quick stay. Very affordable, and it was what I expected for the price.

The room was fine but another guest was smoking, therefore we asked to move rooms as we could distinctly smell the cigarette smoke in our room, and were the ones to report the incident, the staff didn’t seem to believe us. When we asked if we could receive a credit for the inconvenience the best they could do was give us 30% off the one night where we had to move rooms due to someone else’s actions. Mind you this happened after 10:30pm, when we had early plans the next morning. The staff isn’t the most helpful or friendly, the hotel rooms are fine but it is a struggle to get extra amenities such as towels or toilet paper. Overall not a bad hotel but I would recommend spending more money on a better hotel.

Bedroom pillows needed to be replaced. They were filthy. Staff wasn’t very accommodating.

Great area with very helpful staff!

Being in the military I’ve been to plenty of hotels, even before I joined I’ve stayed in better conditions, Overall it was just a convenient place to sleep. The parking garage $35 a day, the ticket to use the garage didn’t work my entire stay neither does the help button so we stood outside until someone came to let us in. Took an actual 15 minutes to get hot water. If you’re staying less than 7 days you don’t get housekeeping, you’re responsible for bringing towels to the front desk and IF they have some to exchange they’ll let you know. Room card stopped working twice. Crazy homeless problem, I thought downtown was suppose to be nice? It smelled like urine and don’t get me started on the horrible driving and lack of policing even though there was law enforcement everywhere. People fighting at 6am outside and being able to hear it all from the 7th floor.

Our room was on the seventh floor and it was still very noisy (street noise). The service was good though and the room was clean and comfortable.

Convenient and clean. Good value. Coffee was good; it was a medium roast from Costa Coffee. The gym was good too!
