this is a historic propery that has a lot of charm. because it is old there are many dated things about it. There were a few problems that the staff was able to address.

The window in 1614 the glass was cracked. It was tapped up. Not worth the price. The bedding was old.

i made a reservation weeks before date when i arrived at hotel they told my reservation was cancelled and where sold out for the night no explanation terrible

The atmosphere is very cool. Staff incredible. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom needs some updating. Magic shows were great and ghost tour looked enjoyable but we didnt partake. The bathroom needs some updates. Along with elevators. There are 5 but only 2 to 3 where currently working.

The biggest issue was the elevator. There were a large number of students staying at the hotel, and I was waiting 5–10 minutes for an elevator whenever I needed to go up or down. It became a inconvenience . There was also an issue with the AC in my room. The room was not getting cold air, and I had to have a tech come up and switch the system from heat to air conditioning. More generally, the atmosphere this time did not feel like a typical experience. With the number of students staying there and the overall environment, it sometimes felt more like staying in a dorm. The atmosphere was loud, disorderly and not very hotel-like. Very different what I had experienced during my previous 3 stays. This visit was a noticeable step down from what I had come to expect. I hope the hotel can address these issues, because I have enjoyed my previous stays much more.

NEVER AGAIN. This place is old, out dated and horrible. The elevators didn't work peeling paint everywhere and thee entire hotel is dingy. Not to mention that it is doubting as a dorm for two (2) colleges.

A bit well-worn and dated. The internet speed is circa 1999.
