I loved staying here, and have only three complaints. The AC in our room was barely adequate. It was way better than nothing, but it really could have been much cooler. The larger complaint is that the lounge closed so early, like 10:30. Why? Also, that lounge is where the breakfast or brunch is supposed to be served, but it was way understaffed and people were just waiting at the podium even to be seated....we bailed after ten minutes or so. It worked out fine, though, as we found other places to eat right outside and I'm sure much cheaper.

Beautiful historic building, clean contemporary designed rooms, pleasant staff, super hip lobby/lounge. Great location near inner harbor/ downtown attractions. If only they had a pool!

Lovely staff, clean hotel and great location in downtown.

Everything was amazing, the lobby was insanely beautiful and the room was perfect.

Per usual The Kimpton holds a pretty high standard for their properties. However the staff lied about taking pictures in the lobby. They told me that Baltimore City owned the lobby and it requires payment for a permit to be allowed. Otherwise the my stay was great!

We enjoyed our weekend getaway here with our two kids. Everything met our expectations and then some. We would stay here again in the future!

Room was well cleaned when we arrived. However, there were no extra toilet paper rolls or hand soap when we got in. Had to go down to the front desk (no one answered when we called) to ask for both. We were sent up 2 rolls of toilet paper. The person at the front desk said there was no hand soap available. We also dined at the restaurant for lunch one day and it took an hour for us to get our food when we were one of 2 groups of people in the restaurant upon arrival.

What a beautiful hotel. The property is beautifully maintained by a highly professional and friendly staff. We will definitely be staying here for our future visits to the wonderful and charming city of Baltimore!

Smell was not pleasant in lobby and elevators. Other than that the building was a beautiful Beaux arts style that is well maintained!

Don’t write reviews often, but this hotel is above and beyond. A 1906 structure that they just don’t build anymore, lovingly and beautifully restored, with 14 foot ceilings in the rooms!!! When was the last time you had a 14 foot ceiling in the bath area? The architectural features are of another gilded era, and brought back to life like it was yesterday. Service is excellent. Full marks.

The room could have been cleaner. There were holes in my sheets.

The lack of a working key card, no coffee in room, and a reluctant bartender at 9:55pm (5 mins before closing) were disappointing

This place had super nice bedding. Cotton sheets (a rarity in hotels in this era, even nice hotels). Feather pillows and duvet. It was just a really nice hotel. Very comfortable.

Highly recommend this hotel! Awesome updated historic hotel within walking distance of the convention center, the harbor taxi and the Orioles game. Our favorite thing was wine happy hour with appetizer each evening! The on site restaurant was convenient for meals and really good, too. Definitely order anything with crab.

The hotel, lobby, and our room were all beautiful. The staff was very friendly. We were in town for race so we entered late at night and departed early in the morning. Both staff members super helpful and kind despite the off-hours. The restaurant downstairs is cozy and the food and drinks were delicious! Our room was clean and comfortable. Parking is about 55 bucks a day but we found a lot near Department of Human Services right down the street that was 26 per day. It was also very clean and had very friendly and helpful security. We will stay here again!

The room was nice and the staff were very attentive and helpful. The hallways had an odor and I had too many issues with my key card and wasn’t able to either get to my floor or enter my room without assistance from the staff. For a four star hotel, irons, ironing boards, and microwaves should be included in every room. Also, nothing in Baltimore downtown is what I would consider walkable from a safety standpoint.

    Food was great
