Kimpton Hotel Monaco Baltimore Inner Harbor by IHG

Everything was clean.

Staff is doing what they can but with little resources and authorization it’s a complete mess. Gross mismanagement - do not stay here - the owners do not care.

We were happy to have a bar/restaurant on-site, but again, surprised with how poorly stocked the bar was, and how unfriendly the bar and restaurant staff were. I ended up walking to a neighborhood deli after standing for over 10 minutes without an acknowledgement. I also heard restaurant staff talking poorly about customers quite loudly. If you’re paying nearly 400/night to stay somewhere, this is NOT the service you would expect.

This hotel is an unbelievable gem…it oozes with history, but has a modern feel! I don’t know if we somehow got upgraded to a suite (or if every room in this hotel was as grand as ours), but our two queen room on the 14th floor made us feel like we were living the life of one of the B & O Railroad Presidents who probably used this space as an office back in the day. Our room was gorgeous, clean, and spacious. The ceilings were so high and the bathroom was so well lit and laid out. The staff were extremely accommodating, friendly, and helpful…and we were so relieved that they let us store our baggage for the day while we attended our event at the Convention Center. I am not very familiar with Baltimore, but this seemed like a great location…it was definitely an easy walk to the Inner Harbor and the Convention Center. If we ever travel to Baltimore again, we would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel in an old historic building. Beautiful lobby. The room was nice. Definitely could have used another nice comfortable chair. Also an extra trash can. Hotel was very quiet. Decent location.

My room had an issue with the HVAC and the staff immediately accommodated moving me and gave me a breakfast voucher for the inconvenience. Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly, and the rooms were nice and clean and a great size.

Started off a little rocky but management stepped in and solved the issues so quickly it’s not even worth mentioning details. Great location. Great bar…. Friendly staff. Walkable area. Would recommend.

Rooms were clean which was great. However there was 0 air conditioning and after we complained they moved us to a new room and said it worked but after being in there for 4 hours the temperature didn’t change. Lastly $55 a night for valet is absolutely insane.

I can't help feeling that the Kimpton Hotel Monaco Baltimore Inner Harbor booted me because they could get a higher rate from people desperate to find a room for the match. I'd be happy to hear exactly why my booked and paid for reservation was so rudely and abruptly cancelled. Until then, I'd suggest travelers stay well clear of this property.

Great location

They cancelled our booking apparently a pipe burst. Traveled for hours to turn up with no room for us. We had paid and we had called that Morning to check all ok. They said it was. It was not.

This is our second time at this hotel. First time was in Arizona and now in Baltimore. Great hotel, very clean and well maintained. The room was very spacious. Will come again!

This hotel has exceeded my expectations and I am looking forward to staying here again in the future. This is a great stay for anyone considering it.
