Pier 5 Hotel Baltimore

We were blown away by how nice the hotel was. We thought it was a great value for the price paid. It was super clean. The staff was extremely attentive and helpful. Very pleased with our stay.

The facility is older. The room was very big. The beds bedding and towels were very clean and comfortable. If they update the bathroom and get rid of the popcorn ceilings add a fresh coat of paint it would be 5 stars

Top notch in every way, and the steak house was excellent and well staffed.

I chose it for it's Inner Harbor location. And the room price value was notable. My room was quite large. A little outdated (e.g. limited electric outlets for charging devices - but downgrading for that seems mean) I really enjoyed my stay.

The location was perfect for being in the center of everything we wanted to see For the price expected the rooms to be clean for starters and not so dated. the room was dirty, and smelled very musty. Brown water coming out of the shower faucet, the door to bathroom did not close all the way and the mattresses were definitely worn out. And staff not very friendly.

Best location for downtown and Pier Harbor Exploring Outdated

The hotel was absolutely beautiful. The view was awesome. It was very convenient to all activities and restaurants. The room could have been a little bit more updated. There were some cracks in the bathroom and the chair in the room was kind of dirty.

The room was not very clean or inviting. The bathroom shower curtain is unraveling. The breakfast was late to open, did not have decaf coffee and was not very good and only warm. The tables and chairs were dirty and falling apart. The money charges for the room was not worth it at all. The only good thing was that it was close to the Hardrock Cafe and a couple of good restaurants

The balcony has a rubber floor so very very slippery when even a little damp… dangerous in fact, I walked out onto the balcony and wiped out cutting my foot on the threshold .. Told the staff , they only had little bandaids ( I had an emergency kit in my car) and the staff agreed it was dangerous The pole light in the room on/ off knob came off so now it’s just a sharp object you can’t use, therefore that light can’t be used. Toilet was so low I felt like I was sitting on the floor The toilet ran a lot all through the night No hair dryer Continental breakfast cost $ with bad coffee, there are plenty of other places near by No printer for guests to use

This hotel was likely "high-end" years ago especially with Ruth's Chris and McCormick and Schmick's (sp) restaurants located in the hotel. However, the hotel is starting to show its' age.

When we went for breakfast there was barely anything left and he would not put anything else out so we did not eat

Our "harbor view" wasn't really a view. If you were 6'5" maybe you could see but over all the air-conditioning units on roof, hard to see. Balcony was not useable because of location over the inner workings of the hotel. Should have either some type of hedge planters or wooden privacy border so not to see all the electrical units, etc. No one should be charged extra for that room for any type of view or balcony that you would never sit on. Furniture outdated in room and not comfortable. Also bathtub extremely slow emptying. Had water up to my shins while showering. Staff was very nice. Love the location of the hotel.

Location It was outdated, very old, room was coming apart, front door looked like it was kicked in, and the balcony was coming apart and not waterfront
