Bar Harbor Grand Hotel

As with just about all hotels these days, it was way overpriced. That was the biggest negative.

Exceptional

This was a lovely hotel in downtown Bar Harbor. The perfect location to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Breakfast was wonderful and the afternoon snacks were a nice treat. I highly recommend.

The staff was helpful in every way and went above and beyond what we expected. The breakfasts were wonderful and filling and the variety of food was amazing. They provided walking sticks for the hikers and umbrellas as well. We don't have a single complaint and would love to go back there if we ever visit bar harbor again. Also, the location was great because it was within walking distance of just everything we needed and some things we didn't.

Rooms were cute, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was included and really good. They also had refreshments during the day. The porch has comfortable chairs you can sit in and enjoy the atmosphere.

Great stay. The staff were all nice and the breakfast rotated daily and was delicious each time.

A lovely stay with great, friendly staff.

Room was clean and nicely decorated. A reasonable selection of breakfast items was provided. 24 hour coffee was nice to have, in addition to the evening cookies.

I absolutely loved my stay! Great location- could walk to everything in Bar Harbor and 5 mins to Acadia. Clean, comfortable room & delicious breakfast. They thought of everything from binoculars available at the front desk that we used in Acadia to blankets for sitting on front porch on a cool Fall night. I would 100% stay here again!

We enjoyed the porch and all day coffee and tea. Having infused water and water filling stations was wonderful. We had a comfortable room and loved the robes!!

This hotel was amazing. Our room was very clean (which I am particular about). There was daily room service. The staff were so friendly. There was ample free parking. The breakfast options were great. I was very happy with my stay.

Awesome all aspects

The Inn is beautiful and in a great location. The staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean and breakfast had a nice selection. I would definitely recommend.

The hotel property is beautiful, well maintained, and convenient

This hotel was exceptional. Incredibly clean, great location, and delicious breakfast. The rooms were always cleaned daily to a standard of excellence and the staff was beyond kind and accommodating. I hardly ever write reviews, but this hotel deserves A++++.

Perfect location. Upscale hotel with all the amenities. Free parking. It is on the main road in Bar Harbor. You can do dining and shopping just outside the hotel. Very close to Acadia National Park. Very close to the harbor with so many activities - cruises, whale watching etc. Breakfast is great. Staff was very friendly and was always available. Will go back to the same hotel next time we visit Bar Harbor.

Great location and great staff!

Lovely hotel and experience. We were there for Labor Day and they had a table set out in the morning with treats to make your own trail mix bags. What a thoughtful offer along with Davion’s bags for your trail mix and even a roll of masking tape to close your bag. Along with this ‘do it yourself trail mix’ (which may be a weekend’s only feature), they had delicious whoopie pies and cookies available each evening. We loved sitting out on the front porch in chairs and rockers. Great location. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone new to Bar Harbor (like us.)
