Bar Harbor Grand Hotel

Everything from the location, breakfast, and surprises like cookies and make your own trail mix was excellent.

Room was clean w plenty of space. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good. Parking is good. Best part is that you can park at the beginning of your stay and walk anywhere you want to go in town.

Breakfast was amazing. The pool was warm. The hot tub was great. The staff was incredible. So friendly, helpful, and attentive.

Very beautiful and absolutely worth a visit... I loved hospitality along with the Beauty and antiques.. breakfast had so many options...best was sitting outside in rain and enjoying my coffee while experiencing Bar Harbor vibes

Breakfast had good variety with healthy options but included delicious coffee cake. We were thankful the walking sticks were available for hikes. Parking was a breeze. The location was convenient to restaurants and shopping. Never had time to try out the pool but it looked inviting. Only surprise was sunrise was at 4:50 am. Blackout curtains would be helpful but we managed. Would stay again!

We stayed at the Bar Harbor Grand Hotel for three nights for our exploring of Acadia National Park. The hotel is conveniently located in Bar Harbor and the rooms were clean and well furnished with good views. The hotel is relatively new but constructed to evoke a historical feel. The breakfast offerings were varied and good. Overall highly recommended.

Loved my stay here. The place is well kept, clean and the staff is very friendly. I loved the breakfast too. Food was fresh and had many options not like the usual corn start and sugar syrup driven breakfast served in franchise hotels.

Property and rooms were very clean. Everyone was super nice and extremely helpful. Step outside and you’re downtown. Excellent stay!

Our stay was phenomenal! From the staff being so helpful at check-in and throughout our stay to the parking, clean rooms and the decor. The absolute best breakfast buffet that we've ever seen! We will be back!

Warm and welcoming staff. Spacious and well lit room ( we had 2 Queen room)Great location from where all dining and shopping is walkable.Parking is free. Acadia Natl Park entrance is a short drive from here. The front porch with rocking chairs and throws provided was a nice touch. Nice breakfast options , especially the fresh berries and the make-your-own trail mix certainly had me giving this place a five star without hesitation! It’s the small things sometimes! Highly recommend!!

Our room was exceptionally clean, recently renovated, and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel's location was perfect—close to everything we wanted to see and do in Bar Harbor. The complimentary breakfast was fresh, plentiful, and well-stocked each morning. The dining area was always spotless. Every morning, we were greeted by Josh, whose kindness and friendly personality made our day start on a positive note. He took great pride in ensuring that all breakfast items were fresh, fully stocked, and the display area looked appealing. Another wonderful touch was the daily afternoon treats offered to guests. In addition, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate were available 24 hours a day, which was greatly appreciated after a day of exploring. The Bar Harbor Grand Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. We would not hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bar Harbor.

The room was very clean, with plenty of space, robes for our comfort, as well as plenty of tea and coffee in the room with cream and sugar. There were large dresser drawers available for us to unpack as we stayed 5 nights. Bathroom towels were thick and plentiful as well as soap, shampoo and conditioner and lotion, with a very light refreshing fragrance. Like every other review, I will add that their breakfast is a welcome variety of eggs, meats, fruit, breads, coffee cake, yogurts and cereal. So delicious and the breakfast staff so kind to everyone. We would definitely stay again.
