The rooms were spacious and clean and the air conditioning was amazing! The only disappointing thing was there was no swimming pool. There were pictures of an outdoor pool online for the property, so we were disappointed. However, we were very pleased with our rooms and the cool air conditioning during a small heat wave!

Well, it was in a good location with free parking. Our dogs were allowed to stay there with a fee per night, per dog. The front staff were friendly and helpful, and their snacks and H2O refill station were the BEST. The reason for the two-star rating was more a reflection of the folks who stayed there and not the hotel. Some folks two doors down were brushing their huge dogs and the tumbleweeds of hair were floating by. A guest parked his truck, backwards with his giant tarp over the many bikes in the back (blocking any view). He took the spot right in front of our door and stayed parked for several days. I don’t think he went anywhere. Also, we were in the first floor and had a family of adult and baby elephants running around upstairs, and moving furniture. All of this said, I think I’m just too old to stay in a roadside, beach hotel. The hotel itself was fine. If you are looking for more a more refined experience, keep looking.

Great place. Price and location were right

Great location, close to Acadia park and short walk to downtown. Quiet location.

The staff is not friendly at all. At no time did the front desk staff stand up and talk with us. They barely looked up from their desk. On checkout day, cleaning staff started staging fresh linens in big red bags in the walkway outside the rooms at 8am. Which not only blocked the walkway but sent a clear message that is time to get out. It is a clean, neat hotel in a confident location at a reasonable price. Nothing more.

A best place for my budget, and I stayed one night, and the location is perfect. the hotels inner city are so expensive in the season, and this place was best for me and my dog. The staff are the best and so kind. I had an issue of reserving a room which I reseved a non-pet room by accident, but the staff simply helped me to allow my dog to stay. LOVE~

Friends and I came for a weekend in Bar Harbor/Acadia, and we really enjoyed our stay here. Parking was not an issue even though we checked in late on a Friday night, mainly because staff gave us permission to 'create' a spot (in fairness there was enough space to do so!); the rest of our stay, parking was truly not an issue, as we always found an open spot. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Being on-the-go vacationers, we really appreciated the free continental breakfast and all day snack bar that set us up right for the rest of the day. Our double queen room was clean, air-conditioned, and spacious enough for 3 adults. We also found all of the main sights downtown to be within a comfortable 15-20 minute walk. We'd gladly return here in the future!

Wonderful staff and great location. They’ve hit the key components of a hotel stay which for us is cleanliness, location, service, and all day snacks including coffee and filtered water. Those small things like the coffee and water are not common enough but make a huge impact on convenience cost to the traveler. We would definitely stay there again!

Very clean, well-maintained, nicely kept motel. Walkable to downtown Bar Harbor. A great value. Nice sitting areas outside of rooms. Plenty of parking.

Will absolutely stay here again!!!

It was 15 minutes to walk to downtown. The room was very clean and staff was friendly. The breakfast had gluten free Udi’s products. Would stay here again.

Nice area! Used to go to acadia and was a short drive to the park.

The staff was so kind, they helped when my keycard wouldn’t work and were very accommodating! The breakfast was a grab and go with plenty of pastry options and cereals. The rooms were clean and came with plenty of towels! Great place to stay!!

I expected a better place for the amount of money we paid per night but I guess Bar Harbor is a very expensive destination. The room was ok. The shower head was broken and there was no hair dryer. Both issues were taken care right away. It was nice that they offered complementary snacks and drinks. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was perfect. Easy 10’ walk to restaurants and waterfront

The Seasider was perfect for our stay. The fresh coffee, snacks, and fruit were great for those super early mornings before hiking. The location was great, easy in and out. Our room was clean, had cold AC, and was quiet at night. We would absolutely recommend staying here!
