Bayview Hotel

The hotel was perfect and we all family had a great time there and we will 100 percent will come back Nothing we had a great time

Everything! The staff was amazing. Location was perfect. Complimentary laundry service, goodies for my pups, and daily goodies left for us from a candle to socks with lobsters on them ❤️ I may be ruined for all other hotels after this!

Highly recommended this hotel. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are huge, location is close to everything, and the services the hotel offers are awesome. Will be back!

The view from the room was excellent - right on the water. Breakfast and an afternoon tea was included - both very good. Check in could have been a little faster but this was not a big deal.

Everything! Nice, big rooms, lovely balcony with a beautiful view. We actually liked being about a mile away from downtown Bar Harbor bc the hotel is on the walking path so it was a perfect, easy walk every day! And it was quieter at night than being in town. Also, the breakfast was the best we’ve ever had in any hotel. I honestly can’t think of anything. They nailed all the big things like cleanliness and amenities and space. There were so many little touches that just tipped it over, like the free water bottles, coasters, and goodie bags every night (that was a fun surprise) the random charcuterie board delivery…we absolutely loved our stay!

The staff was absolutely amazing. Breakfast was wonderful every day. The shuttle to and from town makes this quiet inn with a bay view the perfect place for us to stay whenever we are fortunate enough to visit again. We really felt like welcomed guests because anytime we had a question or a need they were genuinely happy to help. I feel like we picked the best place to stay for our first visit to Bar Harbor. The view from the property is amazing with a wonderful sunrise. The railings on the patios are a little too high and hard to see over if you are sitting in the lower chairs. Metal railings that are thinner and darker and a few inches lower would make the patios the perfect place to view the bay.

Bar harbor is an amazing place, the hotel is a magical resort , a perfect quiet peaceful vacation place. The best service. Very intimate service, the team is very warm and welcoming, they know you by the name and your preferences. The best room, the best towels , small gestures that make your stay so pleasant. Nothing!!!

The friendly and professional staff, the perfect location for accessing Acadia National Park, and the excellent food during tea service and full breakfasts. Not a thing

Walking distance to bar harbor down town. Dot. Have to cross busy street. They always have food and snacks out. Folks very friendly. Small treats left in your room nightly. My new favorite place in bar harbor. I got visit three times a year What’s not to like

Everything was impeccable and wonderful. The staff was amazing - welcoming, kind, helpful, happy and always available. The room was huge and perfect - comfortable bed, CLEAN, well appointed, large bathroom with the largest, softest towels that I have ever seen and great water pressure. The view was beautiful - the balcony had comfortable chairs and was overlooking the water. The location, for us, was great - about a 15 minute walk north of town (sidewalk all the way) so away from the crazy. They have a free shuttle if walking isn't your thing. Breakfast was delicious - everything homemade, local and delicious. They also have high tea from 3-5 featuring local pastries and yummy sandwiches. The turn down service was a surprise - lovely Marissa comes every evening with a huge smile and sets up your room for a relaxing night. She leaves nightly gifts, like essential oil foot cream, lavender pillow spray, relaxing facial mask - don't want to say more and spoil the surprises! Absolutely nothing.

The stunning view, the comfortable beds and the luxurious towels. Greg was an awesome help with his local knowledge and approachable nature.

The staff was absolutely phenomenal, we got married in Acadia National park and checked in when we were still in suit and dress and they were so excited for us and when we came back that night to the room they had set the whole thing up for us with a lovely note from the staff. The view was spectacular, the room was beautiful the hotel was stunning the food delicious and the atmosphere was so relaxing we couldn’t have asked for more!! The only thing we didn’t have in the room was a microwave for some leftovers we had but there might’ve been somewhere else in the building we didn’t really look, but that was the only thing - we loved it so much we won’t stay anywhere else but the Bayview for future visits!

Beautiful decorated house with stunning views and attentive staff.. Nothing

The location was perfect. Not right in Bar Harbor, but close enough to visit. The view from our deck was breathtaking. The breakfast was good and they served tea every afternoon from 3pm to 5 pm. There was a complimentary pantry for snacks as well. The staff was wonderful. This is not a complaint, but the property does not have an elevator. Not to worry as their bellman are there to help with transporting luggage up the stairs.

Wonderful location. Views were gorgeous. And the hotel was lovely!! And without a doubt, the staff was exceptional!!
