Highbrook Motel

The room was immaculate and communication via website was convenient. Breakfast is delivered straight to our door and free drinks and snacks available. Close enough to drive to downtown in less than 5 mins.

This was, beyond a doubt, the best motel experience I have had. The check-in process was completely contact-free, with the room number and door code texted the day of arrival. The room was spacious, SO CLEAN, and an Island Explorer ride away from everything we came to see. The complimentary breakfast was delivered to the door with a light knock, and it was everything we needed to fuel ourselves for a day of hiking. The shower had HOT water, and the only time I interacted with anyone was to request breakfast earlier than the app noted. It was accommodated easily, and Adam was incredibly friendly and helpful. Check-out was as simple as locking the door, and I cannot express how stress-free and lovely the whole experience was. Despite there being no vacancies, we did not hear anyone during our stay, everyone was a respecful adult. I never really leave reviews, but felt compelled to go out of my way to share my experience because I was blown away. If you are someone who prefers low/no interactions, quiet lodging surrounded by respectful adults, quality service, light amenities, and clean comfort away from home, this is the place for you!

We enjoyed this well-located motel. We were in the upper level of units up the hill. The room was as pictured and described. The bed was pretty comfortable. The AC worked well enough in the oppressive heat wave. We had 2 sinks, one outside the bathroom, which was nice. There were two comfortable chairs near the window. It was quiet. We caught the free Bar Harbor shuttle at the bottom of the drive which was super useful since parking was hard to find in Bar Harbor and expensive. The breakfast was wonderful. We got to order what we wanted off a list of items, and it was delivered to the room at our chosen time. There was also a very helpful room in each building that had an ice maker, coffee, microwave, popcorn with buckets to put it in and free water and sodas which was awesome. Oh and free chocolate chip cookies every afternoon that were really good. Great stay. Great location for the park and Bar Harbor.

Close enough to make for easy access using the free shuttle bus that ran into Bar Harbor every day. Loved being able to just park my car and not have to deal with traffic or parking to get into town Truthfully nothing the breakfast I order they say before was delivery each morning at the requested time. There was a nice little hospitality room in the middle of the building with ice, drinks, coffee, popcorn to make and fresh cookies

The staff was very accommodating and the room was spotless. The location i snot far from the Bar Harbor waterfront. The property is older and is reminiscent of a 1950's motel. The shower was difficult to adjust and the refridgerator was not working the first day we arrived.

The hotel has a beautiful modern vintage vibe that I absolutely loved. Everything was spotless, and the property felt very safe and welcoming. The self check-in and check-out process was incredibly convenient and easy to use. What really stood out, though, was the communication. The hotel team was responsive, friendly, and kept in touch with us via text without ever feeling intrusive. Whenever we needed anything, they responded almost immediately. It was such a refreshing approach to hospitality, and it made our stay completely stress free. We had the best time and would absolutely stay here again!

This is a quaint motel full of nostalgia. The room was very comfortable and the delivered breakfast each morning was delicious. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The check in process was easy and very efficient. Would absolutely stay here again.

The location was great; I felt like I was already in the park. The fact that a motel served breakfast to your door every morning was amazing and a big surprise. I liked that I had my own parking space right in front of me. I also was appreciative of the goodies and self serve printer in the 24/7 available lounge. Also that white sound sleep machine was super helpful An ac in the front of the room.

The room was very clean, the area was quiet, the staff was pleasant, and the breakfast was so good and convenient. They were so quick to fill any requests such as fresh towels, and had complimentary snacks and drinks for guests which was an amazing touch. Would definitely stay here again.

Very clean. I think the bathroom was recently remodeled and possibly never used before. Good water pressure The frig is in a bad spot. I kept hitting my toes on it bc it was under the sink
