Nice room. Great view . Great piano player. Friendly staff. Pricy

Everyone was so kind and the hotel was kept up very well. Such a comfortable stay. The walk to the shuttle was incredibly long, especially at night, but understandable so not anyone’s fault.

A very nice Hotel near to the commercial center of Bar Harbor. For the cost I thought it would have more perks, i.e. a dining room and more breakfast options other than the on-the-grounds breakfast and lunch restaurant that is a short hike from the main hotel building; perhaps water or other beverages in-room; maybe a welcome mini bottle of wine, etc. in general, I thought that the Bluenose was a little overpriced.

The property is older but still outstanding. They have real room keys! Our family loved staying there and the view was incredible. It was really lovely sitting on the balcony while our son fell asleep in the room. Downtown Bar Harbor is a short walk away and you can get the bus back to the hotel quite easily.

We were in the main building (so not newly renovated) but it was great for us! It was an excellent launch point for our daily hikes and activities in Acadia. We were able to easily walk the 15 minutes into Bar Harbor to get dinner and visit the waterfront. We did not use the amenities (pools or bikes) so I can’t speak to the conditions of those. We did grab a free cup of coffee each morning before we started our day though. I would stay there again.

Room was clean and comfortable. Nice balcony overlooking water. Used the outdoor pool several times. Lots of towels and chairs available. Bed was comfortable. Nothing.

Gorgeous views, fabulous breakfast at Looking Glass restaurant, super helpful friendly staff. Adorable gift shop. Beautiful live piano music from lounge. Great indoor pool. Property entrance from the road needs more lighting -very hard to drive to it or find it at night

Hotel is beautiful and perfectly located. Room was large with an incredible view of Frenchmen Bay. Pool was fantastic and greatly appreciated by my kids. The cherry on top of our lovely experience was the evening pianist that the entire family enjoyed each night

Staff was friendly and helpful. Love the Great Room and music/ piano player every night but Sunday.

Use of a real key was frustrating as it stuck and door rarely opened on first try. Where are the key cards?

Great amenities! We had amazing views of the water from our balcony and the room was spacious. Liked the double vanities in bathroom. Location was not very close to walk to downtown. Walking during daylight is ok but at night you need to take shuttle bus located on property. The shuttle bus is at their other hotel on property so it’s not directly in front of Bluenose. We arrived Sunday so we did not get to hear entertainment and bar wasn’t open.

We stayed here for a couple nights for our anniversary. Literally felt like we were in a hallmark movie. Loved this Inn so much! Clean, super comfortable beds, and beautiful views! Book this place, you will not regret it!!
