Wonder View Inn - Bar Harbor Collection

Wonderful location!!

Clean room, convenient, good restaurant

This hotel is clearly cashing in on its location while neglecting basic maintenance and guest experience. We found spiders and spider webs in the bathroom, the room, and on the balcony - something you simply don’t expect from a hotel at this price point. The staff were polite and the service was adequate, but it felt like customer experience was an afterthought. A great location doesn’t make up for poor upkeep and lack of attention to detail. There are better options in the area that offer far better value for the money.

We loved our stay here! This was our 2nd stay we liked it so much. Close to Bar Harbor activities & Acadia. Very clean with great staff and piano bar was lovely! Definitely recommend!

This was a great location to town- just about a 15-20 minute walk or a short shuttle ride. They allowed our pup who had a great time. The grounds had a lot of space to walk about and explore. The rooms were a very nice size with lots of space.

The location was great. You could walk to Bar Harbor or take the island explorer to avoid paying for parking downtown. Note that taking the island explorer back from downtown takes longer (5 min there, 20 min back) because Wonder View is the last stop. The room was clean and we had a ton of space in a corner room with two queens and a wraparound balcony. The indoor pool was a nice surprise. The outdoor pool was beautiful but it was cold and the weather wasn’t super hot so we only enjoyed it briefly. Check in and out was super easy, the staff was helpful and friendly.

Need curtains so the sun doesn't wake you at 4 am. My tub and sinker were backed up. You would think the cleaning people would have noticed and had it corrected before the next guest arrived. Grounds were not run down but room was clean.

This location was absolutely perfect. Our room was clean, the bed was so comfortable, it was quiet and the location was close to town and close to Acadia NP. The staff, from the front desk to housekeeping, was friendly and kind.

Room was clean. Bathroom was really small. Staff was ok. Didn’t eat on site. Location ok.

Very basic cable couldn't get NBA game. Also, I feel it was not a great price for staying at Livingston. Room was clean.

We loved the location, minutes from Bar Harbor shopping and Acadia, but felt like it was secluded. The amazing pianist was a great addition to our evening after a day of hiking, exploring, and hot tubing.

Loved this place. Very clean and breakfast was super even though we paid for it. Loved the area and closeness to downtown.

Check in was easy and friendly. Every staff interaction was 5 satr. The room was a little small and the bathroom was even smaller. Curtains would have been great, since the sum rose before 5am. The shower water pressure was very poor, but the hot water was great. I would recommend a bathroom fan. We also enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. We had neighbors on our last night, we could hear every word of their conversations....late into the night.

Wonderful property and overall treatment by the amazing staff here for a stay for my family - very highly recommended ~ a great experience all around, and very quiet which is a rarity in town…

Staff was very helpful. Key would not open the door. Room was very antiquated. That whole section of rooms needs updating.
