The view was amazing, and the location was perfect.

The location and views were stunning. Loved the free shuttle and how accessible everything was to Acadia and town!

Fantastic!

Was very unique. Had some great conversation in the lounge. Highly recommend.

Love the balcony. Sunset was glorious. Clean room. Breakfast was nothing special but lovely staff and strong coffee.

The room was large and the view from the top floor could not be beat. Having a balcony to sit on and enjoy the spectacular view was special. The hotel was convenient to Bar Harbor and Acadia. It was nice that the free bus came directly to the hotel for pickup so one didn't have to deal with finding and paying for parking in Bar Harbor. The staff was friendly and we appreciated having a free breakfast each morning.

We paid about $400 per night for a very basic room and were disappointed. There was no housekeeping at all: no room cleaning, no towel changes, and the used towels we left outside our door stayed there for our entire stay. When I mentioned this at reception, I was simply handed clean towels instead of anyone coming to take care of the room. Our room was also located directly above what seemed like a laundry or utility area, which made it noisy and uncomfortably hot. After returning from Acadia when it was about 63°F outside, the area around our room felt more like 85°F. Breakfast was extremely basic and far below what you’d expect at this price point. Overall, this felt like a budget motel experience at luxury hotel rates. I would not recommend staying here and would choose a different hotel in Bar Harbor next time.

The front desk staff was cold and unwelcoming.

Overall a great experience. The room was clean and comfortable even though the hotel is a bit older. There was ample parking and a beautiful view. I would absolutely stay here again. I took off one star due to two factors. The towel bar fell off the wall in the bathroom. When I alerted the staff, they quickly reattached it while we were out for the day. But it immediately fell off again. The two ends of the towel bar were too far apart, so simply reattaching the fallen end into the same location didn’t solve the problem. Also, while the breakfast selection was very good, the trays of hot food were often not hot and almost empty. If they had put out smaller trays that they refilled more frequently, that would solve the issue.

Loved our stay here! So convenient to Acadia National Park and downtown Bar Harbor. The staff was very helpful and the rooms and common areas were clean and well maintained. We loved our view of the ocean from our room and even saw the sunrise from our balcony! The bed was comfortable and pillows were excellent! Loved the heated pool and free breakfast!

We had a great trip in Bar Harbor and enjoyed our time at the hotel. It’s a little outdated in ways and the rooms had a little musty smell. We loved the view and the pool. The location was also great, just minutes from downtown!

Great room with awesome views of the bay and sunset and sunrise. Convenient to Bar Harbor. It is about 30 minute walk to downtown. Room was clean and comfortable. Only issue was housekeeping never cleaned our room while we there for 6 nights. I had it scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday but it did not get cleaned. We had to get our own towels and take care of our trash. This would not stop me from staying there again but it is important to know. Highly recommend this hotel.

Awesome spot, beautiful views. Nicely laid out rooms. Pool was really cold, not heated much at all. Trash piled up in every can around the hotel. Breakfast was decent.
-
Nice breakfast. Did not get a chance to use the pool because it was too cold outside. Very easy to access Acadia NP and Bar Harbor

We stayed in a suite with a balcony and ocean view. Beautiful!

Beautiful view, bedroom layout and beauty sink outside the bathroom was a great idea. Porch and pool. Bedroom was clean and ready.

The room was very nice. The view from our room was incredible. The breakfast was very good. And the dining area, inside and outside were both extremely clean. One of my favorite vacation places.

Beautiful and clean pool area, great breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Overall a great experience in a beautiful setting. Thank you!

One elevator for entire building which was likely the slowest elevator in New England.
