This is a beautiful motel, that is close to Bar Harbor. It has a shuttle to town, and offers smores at night.

S'mores every night (they even had a tabletop s'mores inside on a night that it rained). Free Tide detergent and Bounce dryer sheets in laundry room. Thoughtful breakfast and coffee bar. Fun mid-century design and aesthetic throughout. Lots of families with young children when we stayed in July. Would stay here again!

Unique and trendy with fun extras like flag magnets to mark where you’re from and plush toys for kids. Also snores and pool. Bathroom floor always seemed to be wet, had a hard time keeping shower curtain from leaking.

Our selected room was spacious and provided everything we expected. Stayed in the room with 3 beds. 1 bed was in one room, 2 in the other, separated by the bathroom and amenities. This was nice for us parents to have our privacy and stay up later without worrying about the kids. Staff was friendly and each of our three boys received a stuffed moose upon arrival. The motel also had events put on like making your own smores and creating sun catchers. On check out day we took advantage of the free breakfast - typical breakfast options but nice to have cooked sausage, eggs and bacon as well. Overall loved our stay. Too bad not more places like this are closer to bar harbor shops. It’s nice to have space and bed options without having to pay a fortune and end up paying double because you need to reserve two rooms to accommodate larger families.

The Bar Harbor Motel is conveniently located near to Main Street….the main strip in Bar Harbor! The rooms are well kept and very comfortable.

This hotel was a perfect choice for a family trip. The breakfast was delicious, and the kids especially enjoyed the tree swing and the complimentary s’mores. The pool was also very clean, allowing them to have a great time safely. The location was another big plus, as it was close to both downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, making it very convenient to get around. If I ever visit Bar Harbor again, I would definitely stay at this hotel.
