Route 66 Motel

Clean room

When we arrived there wasn't anyone at the office. He came about 5 minutes later. The room has no lamps. Just canned lights and a broken floor lamp. The liquid bath soap container was empty. There were 2 bath towels but only 1 wash cloth and hand towel. The floor was not clean. Only 3 pillows on a king bed. Just not great and the area is sketchy at best. No restaurants nearby either.

This was a nicely renovated hotel on Route 66. The room was very nice and the property was decorated with old cars and other route 66 decor. We liked that the old neon sign still worked.

Just the perfect place to end our trip.

Was passing through Barstow and decided to give this place a try . Best decision I ever made .

Room was sparse, but clean. Location on Route 66 was convenient. It's a typical route 66 motel. Parking was cramped. Rooms are adequate.

You could put 2 wash cloths in the rooms. Especially when there are 2 people staying.

I spoke with Expedia and stated I enter the incorrect stay date. They send that information to the company. I also, spoke with manager at this location and asked if they received that information. They

Aside from not getting any sleep due to the local ladies of the night arguing and yelling at their pimps at all hours of the night while they smoked their low budget cigars and the fact that we couldn’t watch TV to drown out their shenanigans because it was broken while also being locked out of our own bathroom because the door handle was missing didn’t seem as bad of a time this weekend for our first time (and last time) visiting Barstow.

Disgusting hotel, room was gross. Dead bugs in room, cheap Amazon bed frame that was bent, crumbs under sheets. Tv wires all over the wall, mini fridge was disgusting. Painted bug on the wall

Very worn. The rooms ac wasn’t turned on when we came in. It took a long time for the room to cool

Couldn't stay longer, but I'll be back.

Staff very helpful. Amenities not so good a/c took forever to cool room down, fridge barely worked if at all. Towels, sheets, pillowcases were no longer white. Hate the fact that there was roaches, walls were disgusting dirty.

Mattress a little more on the hard side but still comfortable, wish there were 4 pillows instead of 3. Clean room good location.
